A Made in China knife was something we did not want to buy. On the knife's label it says "German Steel," but on the package it says "Made in China. ". What is the one that you are talking about? Marketing approach taken by the seller is not working. I find that to be.
This 6 inch chef knife looked good to me because my 8 inch knife is a bit big for some things. So far it has kept its edge well. I only have used it for a few weeks, but it seems to be a great knife. The knife I bought this time was different from the ones I have purchased in the past. Built from quality steel, it feels sturdy and is built to last.
Having purchased my third Update International knife, I can honestly say there is no better knife out there. With its 6" diameter, the model is perfect for the majority of Adding an 8" knife and a paring knife will be on my list of things to buy.

They are sharp and feel good in the hand.
It is made out of German steel, but it is imported. The price cannot be beat at all for a product that is not Dexter Russell quality.
It is very This knife isn't bright white rather, it's dull white, like offwhite. I don't think it matches the other white knives I have.
