It may be used to scrape off frosting, etc. but it is not flexible, but it is With the scraper's corners, one might end up digging one's way into the cake. My pan is mostly used to make dough and clean my cutting board. I also use it to move freshly chopped items from my board into the pan once they're finished.
A solid piece of plastic is used as the grip There are no soft parts in it. Personally, I think the shape is pretty cool, but every person may have a different view on it.
This is a 6 x 3 inch picture
Having not tried it yet, I can't comment on how it chops vegetables. Cutting bread dough and pizza dough are the only purposes I use it for. I am able to keep the handle

A recipe recommendation from Cook's Illustrated America's Test Kitchen led me to buy this item. There are no obvious errors in it. In this case, the edges of the blade were not perfectly even. Based on my taste, I would probably say that the blades are stamped from a long sheet and their edges aren't finished. While it was not too bad, it was at risk of scratching the countertop if the corners were bent or otherwise misshapen. One of the first things I noticed was that the handle was There is no rounding to allow it to fit the naturally curved shape of your hand, so I switched to the other recommended scraper by America's Test Kitchen, the OXO Good Grips Multi-Use Scraper. A stainless steel scraper with a variety of uses Using the choppers. There was no fault to be found on the OXO. Dexter was returned to me The OXO went to Russell, and I kept it.
In reading the reviews, I found the varied reactions concerning, with some commenting that it was a disappointing book, while others stated that it was a great read The scraper had a bladed edge while others claimed that it was a cutting edge scraper. It was all I could do to cross my fingers and hope the one I received had a cutting edge. I don't believe it did. Although the edges aren't as sharp as they could be My butcher's knife cuts through it when I run it across it It will take up a fair amount of wood to take care of a block work island, but when cutting through celery, the edge will be left She is equally ragged when it comes to chopping herbs. It would be nice if my kitchen scrapers could do double duty It is our duty to The scraping and chopping should both be clean. Although my butcher block surface will be removed, it will not effect my butcher's cut When using a planer to chop vegetables, it is pretty poor. My only complaint is that it does not chop much, but the tool is excellent in design and far exceeds any kitchen scraper I have ever owned. It IS very thick, and feels good in my hand, so ergonomics are nice and perfect.
I bought it after reading reviews by America's Test Kitchen when looking for a scoop to use on the cutting board. I liked what they wrote about it It is highly recommended to read reviews and ratings provided by the Test Kitchen before purchasing any equipment for the kitchen.
I saw an episode of "Americas Test Kitchen" in which they reviewed a variety of these, and after seeing what they used it for, I knew I had to have it. It should come as no surprise that ATK rates all kinds of kitchen utensils and until I watched this episode, I never would have thought I would need something like this due to the fact that I am not The exact make / model that the reviewers rated the highest is the one I'm talking about. I've used it almost every single time I've cooked! I am not much of a baker. However, I prepare savory dishes all the time, chopping, dicing, slicing, mincing all manner of foods all the time. As soon as the picture appears, I grab my handy dandy scraper, and scoop it all up (and it gets three times more per scoop than even my heaviest knife ever did). My kitchen life has been made so much easier since I've used this. This is great! I love it!.
Having been baking for more than 40 years, I know my way around a kitchen. My experience in bench scrapers ranged from many years of using and owning them to a few years ago. There are a few reasons why this one is a keeper 1.
As the blade is made of stainless steel, it will not rust. However, it is not sharp, so you shouldn't worry about that. Please take note There is nothing sharp about a bench scraper, so no knife or In its original form, it was used for scraping dough, not chopping 2 . *vbr>
3. Made from polypropylene, the handle has a rubbery feel to it. I like how the textured surface provides extra grip, and the material is comfortable to hold. You may clean it in a bowl of hot, soapy water or by placing it in the dishwasher's top rack These benchescrapers have wood handles, so I wouldn't recommend them for those "pretty" bench scrapers. 4. Finally, 3. The product is made in the United States. You ask, how big of a deal is that? Yes, you're right. The purchase of products made in China does not create jobs in the United States. If you want to be debt free, you don't need to pay a lot more to buy a bench scraper made in the USA.
You can trust this kitchen tool to last. The only reason I bought it was to divide up pizza dough into each ball. I really like the way it works. This brand was chosen after reading a lot of reviews and comparing them to others. In this case, the edge isn't sharpened like a knife. It is just a thin and strong The dough cuts just fine. I think some reviewers are expecting this to be a sharp blade, but it is not! I read other reviews that said the metal had oil on it when it arrived. There was a sound of manufacturing dirt in their voice. Given that we are talking about a tool for cooking that will have contact with food, that really turned me off. My discovery of the Sani-System led me to get in touch with you The product looked like it was clean and of good quality. This is the case. The product I purchased was exactly what I wanted. Pizza dough works well with this recipe. let's be honest, let's not bother making anything else except pizza, shall we?.
My sourdough obsession has led me to buy this tool, and it is one I knew I needed but hadn't thought I needed until now. However, since I've been making bread twice a week for the past month, it would be madness to not have one! Taking the time to cut the dough into pieces is so much easier than rolling it out. By using the mat, I can cut a big piece of dough in half in just two chops instead of slicing at it over and over with a knife. When I'm finished, I can use it to wipe the dough bits off the counter. NSF-certified, dishwasher safe, and a solid part of kitchen equipment, this cutter does it all. A bread cutter like this will last for a very long time.
If you bake bread, you need one of these tools.
