I'm not sure why you'd bother reading this
5/5

It snaps in half easily under 1000 pound load other than it is a fantastic knife; I’ve cut up vegetables with this particular knife, beef, and other types of things with it; it won’t work as a prybar, since it cannot be broken down with, so I You can't beat the tubebr>br> Once upon a time, there was a man from Nantucket. br>br> It's a really good night, I think I paid $10 for it, it's still sharp, it cuts really well, of course you have to sharpen them periodicallybr>br> If you don't know how to sharpen a knife, you probably shouldn't spend a lot of money on a knife to begin with, just buy new ones and send your old ones to me! br>br>I've been writing a lot of reviews lately, just using voice recognition, so please excuse my grammar errorsbr>br>But by tonight, you could customize the handle with some colored duct tape or electrical tape, available from Amazon or your local hardware store storebr>br>I can't imagine why you'd read this review.

The edge grind is fantastic, but the ridges on the handle are ridiculous
4/5

Carve a path for them to follow. I can't give this knife five stars because I'm chopping away at the handle to make it more comfortable, which isn't necessary. Due to a slightly thinner blade, the weight is also a little too light, being lighter than a mercer, an Ultrasource, or a Victorinox. The difference in thickness is only a fraction of an inch, but it makes the knife feel more agile and nimble, as well as less likely to tire you out after a long day. br>br>I've purchased a number of knives similar to this one in the hopes of finding something comparable to a Victorinox at a lower price (Victorinox knives used to be more than $20 cheaper). Regardless, this knife is much sharper than the Mercer's, and it is hand ground. It's possible that this is the best edge you can get for "10, truly outstanding. " It doesn't last very long, but it sharpens quickly. br>br>The handle isn't as good as a mercer's or an Ultrasource's, and it's made of cheap plastic with a lot of ridges. However, for this price, you won't find much that is as sharp right out of the box. I cut it in a few minutes with my whittling knife, so it's probably easier to grind the handle than the edge. br>br>The handle isn't unusable; it just has a stupid ridge that isn't conducive to a pinch grip, though it comes off easily. For the price, I'd say this is a great knife, though if you're looking for a House knife, I'd recommend the Mercer or something with a better handle if you're buying a bunch and having them sharpened professionally. The Ultra source has a better handle.

Excellent value for money
5/5

Sharper than a tiger's teeth.   The Update International KP- isn't particularly fancy in any way. xx series of commercial kitchen knives aren't for the snobby, but they're a great deal, made of the same X50CrMoV15 German steel as some high-end knives* that cost tens of thousands of dollars, and they're razor sharp right out of the box. br>br>The KP-KP-KP-KP-KP-KP-KP-KP-K The 09 is a large chef's (cook's) knife with a ten-inch blade that is stamped rather than forged, nicely tapered, and similar to the 10.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
5/5

It's a $10 knife, but it's a very good $10 knife, and my five-star rating reflects the fact that it's a $10 knife rather than a $300 Japanese steel. Sharpening knives is one of my hobbies, and I was able to get this one quite sharp. In the forming process, cheaper steels contain microscopic voids, resulting in an uneven edge surface. They are also less durable and more susceptible to wear and tear. When you pay $300 for Japanese steel, you get the best; when you pay $10 for this knife, you obviously don't get the best steel, but it'll suffice for most kitchen prep tasks.

At a price that can't be beat, this is a solid performer
5/5

This has been my go-to method for a long time. Since nearly six years, I've been using a knife. Almost against my will, I'm finally submitting it for an upgrade. I dropped it in the sink, and the tip bent, and I'm unable to return it. This alludes to the blade's softness, but it's a fantastic knife that cuts cleanly. br>br>Almost every night, I prepare dinner for two people. This knife has seen action on everything from vegetables to meat to garlic and herbs. My roommate teases me for "using the biggest knife for the tiniest job," but I used this thing a lot. I like how the handle is large enough that my knuckles don't hit the cutting board; I have fairly large hands, so it's perfect for me, but I think if your hands are smaller, you might have some difficulty. br>br>I take good care of my knives and never wash them, but mine has developed rust spots after 6 years. But at $12, is it really worth it? The cost per use of this knife is nearly infinitesimally low after 6 years and a lot of use.
