The blade is very sturdy and can take a fine edge even though it is forged, I don't know. Keeping my cutlery razor sharp is very important to me, so this knife is much appreciated!

A LOOK AT THIS IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. When I held the knife in my hand I could feel the thickness of the steel. The handle was heavy, too, and you could tell you were managing to hold one of the best cooking tools available. The knife sliced through peppers, onions, mushrooms, and raw chicken like it was butter the entire time. I'm so glad I bought it! Definitely going to get a lot of use out of it! I highly recommend this book!.
It's been a couple of months since I purchased this knife, and I still enjoy using In two or three strokes on the sharpening stone, the knife is razor sharp and ready to use. It is a blade that I expect to last for many years, but I will always have another one on hand in case it breaks.
The Wustof knives I own have been sharpened on whetstones whenever they need it. I found this chopping knife because I was told that I shouldn't waste money on an expensive boning knife. A thick and sharp steel is used in the manufacturing process. I like that the handle doesn't slip and fits nicely in the hand. Pork butts, ribs, poultry, and brisket can all be trimmed with this instrument.

just received this knife and have been using it to get an idea of how it performs. I only got it a week ago and I haven't tried it on anything yet. It's rare to find a knife at this price that delivers this kind of performance. Here is a super deal, so you might as well order another now as you will want another one in the future.
Cutting and carving are made easy with this knife. Because it's stiff, it's not a filet knife that's great for fish, but beef is good with it.
The ergonomics of this knife are great. This is not a good quality stainless steel because rust spots appear when not thoroughly Probably just as poor will be the edge holding quality as rust spots tend to be. An expendable knife that is good for use as an everyday tool.
