12" German Steel Roast Slicer

I just finished a beef round tip roast for my elderly father and sliced it up for him on this amazing knife, which probably costs less than the roasts it eventually My life has been enriched since I learned about this awesome slicing power! Now I can cook and process any roast I like.

This was very useful for cutting a prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. A typical knife in the kitchen and/or knife blocks has always been too short, so I was looking for a knife that would be long enough. My favorite part is that the solid plastic handles remind me of knives I have used at restaurants in the past. These knives are not particularly fancy, or particularly expensive, but they are very durable and hold a decent edge.

Having bought the knife to skin salmon, I've found it suitable for that purpose. I believe it's a good buy for the price it's at for the reason I use it. While it requires some fine tuning with a fine sharpener or steel from time to time since the temper is a bit soft, it might work for slicing roast. Nevertheless, I would consider purchasing.

I have not had to sharpen it yet, and it is very sharp right out of the box. It is a fantastic knife!.
