Questions & Answers

Can you tell me the width of the blade, especially the widest part? Your help is greatly appreciated! ?

bread knife has a blade width of 46 mm at its widest point on the blade. It is 25mm wide at its narrowest point. There are 140mm in length to the blade. I hope this was helpful to you. There are about 25 millimeters in an inch

Is it easy to cut bell peppers, tomatoes, or cucumbers with it? Spreading peanut butter or butter would be a good idea. ?

Whenever I need a knife, I reach for this one If you plan to serve salad, you should chop all vegetables with a knife I usually don't eat soft fruits and vegetables, especially Although I haven't used it to spread peanut butter, I have used it to spread nutella (which basically has the same texture). Everything seems to work

Is it possible to slice toasted sandwiches. Is it okay if I call it a panini?

The blades are sharp enough to cut them well.

I am not sure I can spread this in jars as it is too wide for that purpose Why do I think this way?

Every single time I make sandwiches I use it
5/5

I love this knife! I am always looking for an excuse to use it! When I use it to handle some bread and other ingredients for a sandwich, I feel like the Commander of the Sandwich Universe. As soon as you use it for the first time you'll know what I mean.

First of all, it feels incredible. As if I had a precision sword in my hand, I feel like I'm fighting sandwich battles with a heavy sword. Having a long can opener lets me dip down to the bottom of a mayo jar without getting anything but You can see it clearly. You can cut tomatoes, fruit or cheese with it in no time. As if I'm slicing clouds, I can cut a baguette with this knife. There is no crushing or crumbling of bread and the slices are insanely thin if I want them to be. That means if I wanted to make them that thin, I could see through them. There's nothing else I could possibly ask for from a sandwich knife other than for it to make the sandwich for me and provide it without my having to do anything. Among my many treasured kitchen utensils are many pieces that were researched and acquired over the years. I only let a limited number of people handle this knife on occasion and only to honor.

This is the King of Sandwich Boards
5/5

I also have a Wusthof Gourmet spreader, which is an excellent sandwich knife as well. I also have a Cutco sandwich spreader. A wonderful knife. They are highly regarded for reaching deeply into mayonnaise, jam, mustard, etc. jars, spreading or cutting ingredients on all sorts of surfaces, and scooping sandwiches off grills, etc. But the Wusthof Classic, is quite another beast. I can do all of that with this thing- It is also easy to cut bread, tomatoes, or other ingredients for sandwiches if you have authority. You will not regret purchasing this pen. It is hefty and feels fantastic in the hand. They have large scallop blades that cut like a razor with razor-clean In order to make a single sandwich, I do not need to slice the other ingredients Whenever possible, I will use the lighter Gourmet or Cutco spreaders for my sandwiches, but if I have to make more than one, if I have to slice other ingredients or just want to feel the heft of an outstanding knife, I will use a steak knife. If I choose this, it will be my choice.

An excellent spreader with a true knife edge
5/5

I think this is a good example of a "Sandwich Knife," which seems to be defined as a spreader with a sharp In contrast, other knives utilize the term, but they are either not very good at spreading, or they are not very good (or dismal) at I personally think this one works well, it has a good size, and is quite a sturdy knife. With its 5" blade, it can drill quite deep into a jar if used in that manner, and it can cover a large area at the same time. This knife is made of good steel and has a great scalloped edge that can be used for bread and sandwiches. It is made of good steel and is made with a very strong serrated edge. As the blade is stiff, it can hold up and dig into things for a long time without needing to be sharpened for years. For most kitchen cutting tasks, I prefer asian-style knives, but this one is my pick for a sandwich knife if you need one to perform the duty of both a spreader and a knife. It is a much better option than two knives. Despite not being my favorite handle, Wusthof's standard handle is durable and comfortable. Probably there are better and prettier versions out there, but I find that the less expensive ones fall far short of There are some more expensive ones that are either too wide or too large, or even just look pretty, but don't work well enough. A good spreader and a good knife would be an alternative approach, but these are more convenient to use, especially in a cabin, when camping, or when you need a quick lunch or breakfast. The spreader is a good choice if you need a spreader that holds up to heavy use or lasts a lifetime. It has a good knife edge and can hold up to heavy usage.

The quality is excellent, and the functionality is great
5/5

The book, which was on my Christmas wish list for years, was finally purchased for me as a Christmas present this year by my son. As this one seemed too expensive for me to justify buying for myself, I decided to wait. Thank you very much for delivering it to me so quickly. It is of high quality and substantial--very happy with it The feel is wonderful, and the design is stunning. It's really good at what it does! When I made a sandwich with it today, I love how the blade is wide, making it easy to spread filling, and also how sharp it is when it comes time to slice it. Since I imagine I'll have this knife for quite some time to come, and since I'll be making so many sandwiches in the meantime, I consider this knife to be a fine value despite its price.

The Wusthof classic is made in Germany, and it is a wonderful piece of cutting equipment
5/5

The Wusthof classic knife is an excellent German made knife and perfectly matches the classic line of Wusthof knives. This knife is riveted to the slabs along the tang, and runs the full length of the blade. As a comparison, the blade is relatively stiff compared to most commercial spreaders I have used, and it is very similar in flexibility to their boneing knife (if you have This blade is equipped with a very sharp offset serration that makes cutting harder food relatively easy (right handed) while slicing with ease to leave a perfect edge for a smooth cut Butter even in the frozen state. Although some people might think it is a bit big, I found it to be a good size for spreading peanut butter, mayo, or butter.

The legendary Wusthoff continues to hit it out of the park! Bread is as easy to cut with this knife as butter is to cut with a hot knife! A knife can be held securely on top of the loaf, without smushing it, leaving a bunch of crumbs, or requiring the person holding the knife to lift it up for a second time
5/5

My favorite part of The weather is still winter here, so I have not yet had a chance to test it out on tomatoes. Despite the fact that I hate store bought tomatoes (I don't like them at all) I have a sneaking suspicion this knife will outperform your average vegetable knife. I'm looking forward to hearing the answer!.

You can use this device both to spread mayonnaise on your sandwich's bread and cut onion or tomato slices. I found it to be a perfect match for my needs. My only hand means I have to be very careful which knives or utensils I use. It is a simple task for me to prepare a one-pager Using this device, you can construct a one-handed sandwich or handle a one-handed burger. With just one scoop, you can spread mayo smoothly, slice a tomato thinly, and prepare a sandwich in just seconds.
