I don't know where my measuring tape is because my wife moved it. A little over an eighth of an inch at the base and a little over one-eighth of an inch As a quick note, this is by far the best knife I've owned. It's so sharp and sturdy (almost makes my other knives look like aluminum foil) that it makes all others seem flimsy. This knife is worth buying, so yes, you should purchase it.

There is a knife in this picture that looks genuine, and it is made by Wusthof.

The knife I bought a year ago is still in excellent condition A wood floor split the blade in half when I dropped it on the floor today. I do not believe these knives are genuine, since I've owned Wustof knives that lasted literally Additionally, Amazon cannot / will not take any action against this. There is something I need to do with.

This is a great knife! It is very sharp and functional
5/5

This review is almost identical to the one I wrote on the Wusthof Classic 8" knife because the two knives are very much alike. They are very different only in size. As an original gift, I was going to get my mom the entire set, but after much thought, I decided to only buy the knife as a single gift. Decided it would be better to spend the money on a few quality knives rather than buying a set with many knives that they hardly ever use. The 8-point scale seemed the most logical to me after reading and research The cook's knife measures 5 inches and this knife measures 4 inches. It was my mother's suggestion that I choose the 5" utility knife. She was delighted with my decision. This knife can be used for most of the meal prep, while the smaller knife can be used for more delicate cuts (for fruits, for example)

This knife cuts beautifully and feels great in the hand. It retains its sharpness and looks nice, The knives were a hit with everyone who visited during the holidays for meal preparation, including those who didn't know what to say (unprompted) about how great they Despite their extreme sharpness, they are incredibly capable of cutting through meat, vegetables, fruits, and so much more with

Splurging on the Wusthof Classic line is usually a wise choice. Other lines are also available, such as the gourmet line, which are more affordable, so be wary when shopping. I would highly recommend getting full-tang knives (blades are formed from a single piece of metal and extend into the entire handle), and are significantly more durable and feel a lot better in your hand. Think about the knives you use the most and why they work so well for you. When buying a product like this, consider that you may not be eating bread very often (so a highly expensive bread knife isn't a necessity). We enjoy meals together as a family, and cooking a meal together when all of us are home for the holidays is a memorable experience for us all. A great knife is a huge help when it comes to preparing a good meal and ease the process of the work. This knife will surely last for a really long time, and I'm glad to be able to add it to my home collection. Please note the following minor points Observing the red Wusthof square stickers reveals the same thing. Put a sticker on it. to find a sticker as the logo on such a costly knife, and even questioned the authenticity of it. Upon some research on Google, it appears that Wusthof classic knives do, in fact, have a red logo sticker on them that would probably come off over time. The issue isn't important at all As long as you don't mind peeling it off, you can continue to use the knife for all its excellent qualities.

They are very well made knives, and I don't dislike anything about them except for maybe the fact that they are too large
5/5

The only thing that I don't like about these knives is that they could be a little bit sharper. Washing and drying rags is something you should practice. All of my washcloths and towels have been shredded! Since I use bamboo cutting boards, I have not needed to sharpen them since months ago. Definitely all I will purchase from now on will be this brand.

It exceeded expectations in every way! The Wusthof Classic knife block set has been in my collection for about 30 years now, and I Earlier this week I busted the tip off of The utility knife was 5 inches long and I tried to do something stupid with it

When looking for a replacement for my knife, I was delighted to find that the Classic series was still available. Although, as is the case with previous knives from this series, the new knives come with a custom logo rather than a sticker. The customer preferred the replacement to match the original, but was willing to overlook the logo imprint. Thanks to an older copy of 4, I found a copy of 3. There was a new 5" with a sticker on it. There's nothing I'd rather have done. (Unless the knife hadn't broken in the first place. We received the product quickly and had no.

It is too small for the handle
3/5

The handle of this knife is so small it would barely fit in an adult man's hand. I have many Wusthof knives that I adore, but this one is being returned today for a full.

The best cut of meat is wusthof of high quality
5/5

A 5 out of 5. Right out of the box, it cuts beautifully and holds an edge well. It is extremely ergonomic. My favorite Wusthof is I have 3 at the moment, but I will come up with more in the future. am a chef and I spend most of my time in the kitchen, so I need reliable, good quality blades in my knife roll. If you are a chef or even if you are just cooking for yourself, Wusthof is worth a look.

The knife is great
5/5

I'm gradually reaccumulating my Wüsthof knife collection since someone needed my old collection more than I did. By the way, I use this knife four out of five times daily. This knife is great for deboning chicken, trimming meats, and filleting fish. It can also be used for chopping small root vegetables, and peeling fruit.

I'm not sure

It's well built, but at that price point, I was expecting a razor-sharp sword that looks like the one in Kill Bill.
