This water strainer is exactly what I've been looking for to filter the cooling water in my RC model boat. To insert brass tubing, I'll have to slightly drill out the in/out ports and attach a bracket to make it easy to remove if it clogs. A mesh size of 50 should suffice. Is it possible to get replacement filter elements? Thanks.

This isn't a 3/8" fitting by any stretch of the imagination

Although the part appears to be in good condition, it is a 1/2" fitting rather than a 3/8" fitting. I had to go to three different hardware stores in order to find a hose barb adapter that would work with my 3/8" hose. Change the description if necessary.
