Yes. This is going to be fantastic.
Hello. Our mesh size is 50 mesh, which is equal to 304 microns.
White nylon, clear polycarbonate, 304 stainless steel, polypropylene, and a buna gasket are the materials used on this unit. You'd have to look up a chemical compatibility chart.
That's all I've got to say on the subject.
Selected User Reviews For 1/4" Hose Barb in-Line Strainer with 50 mesh Stainless Steel Filter Screen
This was ideal for filtering a small batch (5 gallons) of beer while kegging. I used an auto siphon, which caught any sediment that might have gotten past and clogged my keg. Also, the auto siphon uses 5/16 tubing, which worked just fine with the 1/4 inch barb when tightened down with a hose clamp. There hasn't been a single leak in the entire process. This was perfect for my needs!.
This is a small filter that I purchased for a garden sprayer. The sprayers are constantly clogged with small pieces of garden debris that fall in during the filling process. It would seem logical to include an inlet filter in the tank, but even the higher-end models do not. I just cut the outlet line and put the filter in. It's transparent, so you'll know when it needs to be cleaned.
For a beer auto-drinker, I needed a sediment filter. siphon, and it appeared to be a low-cost venture. It's good for low-pressure applications, but if your beer contains a lot of suspended solids, it'll clog up quickly.
Simply soak some cotton in StarSan and throw it away when you're finished.
As advertised, this is an excellent product. Easily affordable- a great deal I would strongly suggest it.
Prior to kegging, I dry hopped a NEIPA with 3 oz of hops to ensure I got the best cleaning beer possible. The job was completed successfully! This is a fantastic addition.
Allows for a high flow of water while also preventing large particles from entering.
very well-made respect.
