Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with the original beer bouncer filters? Is it necessary for me to replace the main unit?

Yes, the same factory in the United States makes our filters. The only difference is that there is no Bouncer logo on the side of ours.

Is there a way to make the Windsor commodore 20 carpet washer work?

Yes, carpet cleaning machines do use our strainers. This is a typical scenario.

Is there a maximum temperature at which liquid can pass through? Is it suitable for use in a hot environment? Is there a way to filter the wort on the side?

Hello, 125 degrees Fahrenheit at 100 pounds per square inch, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit at 150 pounds per square inch. It can withstand higher temperatures when the pressure is less than 100 psi. Our inline strainers are frequently used in home brewing.

Is there a 50 mesh (blue) filter available with this 3/8th barb? I prefer the longer 3/8th 50 mesh filter to the shorter 3/8th 50 mesh filter. Thanks! ?

Yes, we do have a PLS-50 mesh available. M38B- NCE-

Allows air to escape
3/5

Because I used a few pounds of fresh fruit during homebrewing, I purchased this stainless filter to place between my primary and secondary fermenters. The filter was sucking air in from the top, and I couldn't get it to work with my siphon because the vacuum was being broken. As a result, I noticed a lot of oxygen being drawn in, so I halted the process and switched to a hop back during the transfer. br>So I tried it again during bottling with my bottling bucket and filler, and the same thing happened. br>While it appears to work and looks good, I am unable to use it during the brewing process.

I bought two and they both leak air regardless of what I do.

clogs up in a hurry Except for very minor contamination, this product should not be used for anything
3/5

It's a small hole that gets clogged quickly and easily. If you want to filter even a small amount of data, this isn't the best option. To clear out particulates after boiling a 5 gallon batch of beer, I used these. This became clogged in a matter of seconds and had to be cleaned out.

The product worked well the first time I used it, but when I was threading the outer casing on the second time, it broke.
