Is there a "bypass mode" for cleaning the filter basket, or must the flow be stopped and the pressure released before the basket can be removed?

There isn't any pressure relief or bypass.

At a flow rate of 25 GPM, how much pressure is lost?

There would be a 4-percentage-point drop in pressure. 5psi

Is this suitable for use as a water pump?

Yes, water pumps are constantly protected by our strainers.

Do you have a housing wrench that will fit the 50 mesh filter with a 1" npt strainer?

Under pressure, it melts and blows out

After a year, the clear plastic began to fog up, indicating that the materials were insufficient. br>It eventually melted and blew out with only 110 degrees water. It's not enough to make things that look nice. For this application, you must use the appropriate materials. a garage that is inexpensive.

The screen and body seem to be exactly what the Doctor ordered in every way. The screen fits snugly in the clear housing and collects all the debris pumped up from the bottom of a new well. We used to plug faucets and ended up destroying one in the process of trying to clean the gunk out of it. Now we're using gas to cook.
