This product does exactly what it says it will. I have a 1500 gallon tank that I use to water our garden, but it grows algae and gets clogged up with debris. This filter is situated just upstream from my pump. So far, in our garden, there have been no problems with the pump or the drip system heads. We use about 1000 gallons of water per week, sometimes more. I like that the baske holder is clear so I can see when it's getting full of debris. Overall, I'm a big fan of this filter.
