I use it in conjunction with a tank. Tote with a capacity of 275 gallons. It's a water pump that runs on gravity. There is no need to exert any pressure.
We do have a 20 mesh screen available, part number SE-200. L112- 20CSS - VacMotion's Jeff is a great guy.
Yes. There'd be a 1 in the equation. At 7 gallons per minute, there is a 5 PSI pressure loss. The pressure loss at 40 gallons per minute is 4 PSI.

I was irritated by iron fragments stuck in my clothes washer strainers and toilet fill valves. I haven't had any issues since I installed this strainer. The only drawback is that the screw-on bowl has started to leak after 28 months. Maybe the washer is worn out, but I think the problem is with the plastic threads. It's possible that when I reattached the bowl the first time, I misthreaded it, but it still works. It's incredible what this screen can capture.
On a cistern water pump, I use it as a raw water strainer. I bought a second one as a spare or replacement in case the first one was broken by accident. The only issue I have is that the clear plastic strainer housing has become opaque (no longer clear), but this could be due to water quality or direct sunlight exposure.
I used to use regular strainers and filters. Now this: It has a large profile but is much smaller than a comparable filter, and it works well with no restriction and is easy to clean.
I only needed to screen out solids, and this screen filter did the trick.
2. it has been installed Both of their identities were exposed. o- o- o- o- o- o- ring. Same problem with leaks, so I tightened the plastic bowl as much as I could with plastic. There are still leaks. I had no other way of checking for a leak because there were no instructions included. Both of them were returned. br>Spent three hours and $20 on PVC.
Excellent craftsmanship.
It does the job.
