Excellent craftsmanship. Any criticism that they are "too short" is simply ignorant. They are suitable for the majority of applications. I do, however, solder all of my connections, as you should. For strength, I prefer the crimp, and for connection, I prefer solder.
It takes a lot of pressure to deform it. This is a positive development. Always choose the smallest size that will accommodate all wire strands.
I've been using these for a few years now, and I hardly ever use my soldering iron. Modifying wiring harnesses on cars and motorcycles is a breeze with this tool. You'll love them if you use a good crimper.
High-quality construction and durability.
The connectors were not functioning properly. They were too short and thin, and they didn't have enough wire length inside to conduct DC current without overheating, so I had to replace them with a higher-grade butt connector connector to avoid heat problems.
I use these with a hydraulic crimper, and I don't think they'll ever come loose. This is an excellent item.
