They work well and are preferable to plain wire strands, which are easily cut by the binding screw's turning pressure.

Isn't it obvious that their description includes TWO greens? Not to mention that the AWG has the colors described in the wrong order. But, if anyone else is looking for an answer like I was when I got mine, Mark is above me, so I'll use this one.
At Marvac Electronics, I have seen them. Electronics based in Newark
You can crimp it to a power distribution board instead of soldering it.

Except for black, every color in the AWG description is incorrect as of now. Even though there are two greens written on the page, the kit only contains one green. I took a picture of mine with the AWG written on it, just in case anyone was curious. I honestly don't expect the description to be updated because I noticed someone asked the same question and the seller responded with a copy/paste of the WRONG color/AWG description, indicating that they don't realize it's wrong despite the fact that people keep asking about it. In either case, the AWG and number of ferrules will be correct. Simply ignore what they say about the colors being in the description; they are incorrect.
I deducted a star for the incorrect AWG description (the numbers are inverted; does the seller believe that a higher AWG number equals a larger item? ), which is significant because AWG is not listed on the card in the case. If you fix that, you'll get five stars. With the IWISS hex crimp tool, I was able to achieve excellent results using the 16 AWG size. The ferrule slid over the wire and insulation like a glove. Case for storing your belongings. They'd be great for using with speaker wire going into spring clips because the barrel is quite long, providing plenty of grip on the wire.
The colors are incorrect. There is no label on the product. It was necessary for me to complete the task on my own. I'd write a longer review if I didn't think it would be rejected for being too long.
When used with the appropriate crimper(s), these ferrule terminals are quite nice. When I'm away from my larger supply at the shop, I have a good selection of sizes and a nice sized container to use. btw, wrap the box in two rubber bands to keep it from accidentally popping open while in your mobile tool kit. I can only think of one improvement that could be made here: a tighter clasp on the box's lid. br>br>I got the impression that those who gave low ratings didn't understand ferrule type terminals and/or didn't realize the wire sizing was in metric units.
Because I've been using my original box, this was a restock. I wish they would make a set without the plastic because it gets in the way and I usually have to cut it off anyway. I was planning on going with an uninsulated version because the insulated versions were the most expensive, but these are now my preferred method of making terminal connections and I wish I had known about them sooner.
When combined with a good compression tool, these sleeves are a modern alternative to tinning stranded wire before making electrical connections. It's tidy, uncomplicated, and foolproof.
cleans up the look of your install a piece of advice Don't spill it by leaving the box open.
I appreciate having all of my sizes in one place, and the quality appears to be very good. I wish I had known about ferrules years ago because they are an excellent way to finish wires that might otherwise be damaged. Although this may seem self-evident, it is still not the case in all industries. My purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
