It does not come with instructions of any kind, so it will be up to you While the cable looks like it can be slipped over it, this is not the best way to do it. In most cases, you will have to separate the wires so just wrap it around one wire. Additionally, the light comes with a way to mount it to a box, I assume. Several different pieces are in it, including a lens. There was no way I could get that to work for me.

I really like this product! Having the ability to monitor heater status by simply looking at the LED is helpful. There is no low cost. The price should be in the $2 to $3 range A price range between $4 and $6.
