Since the AC712 has an analog signal path, it will output exactly what you enter. In this case, another capacitor can be paralleled to reduce the filter's cutoff (and thus increase the response time). This is not a flaw on this board, but just a normal risk that one has to manage

20A may be in question

There is a maximum of 10A on screw terminals. It has been designed for 20A on the board. I'm not going to comment on how they are allowing 20 amps to flow through a pair of pins, but the screw terminal attached to the board is rated for 10A 300V, making the board as a whole 10A. You would have to desolder the screw terminals and resolder the appropriate wire into the hole if you wanted to increase the amperage. The ACS712 5A version is just right if you only need 5A maximum. It has less sensitivity than the board in question, which is practical. If you have a circuit with more than 20A, you might want the 30A version. Since I need to make this in-line mod 12-amp maximum, I'm stuck with this awkward in-line mod There are two boards between them.
