Questions & Answers

are the best end cut bits end cut Bits best used for?

DOWN CUT: To maintain a clean top surface, use the following ingredients: Ace, roxane, lcohol, and acetone. Cutting speeds are lower than up cuts) If you want a top surface on a bottom step. COMACTION STRONG: you should get the right combination of top and bottom. Keep the bottom as clean as possible.

What if there is a need for a down shear e when we need aup cut bit?

A down-cut bit has a clean, sharp blade on the top that will let the material rip out on the bottom, making them suitable for dadoes, rabbits, etc. You can usually get an even up-cut on the top, but not on the bottom. Make sure both sides are cut well with your compression bit. You can find my CFDN manual at our website, or download it from the eMamasaw website for an in-depth discussion. It also has the same principles. Would you please describe how you can we possibly of assistance? Thank you so much, Thom.

are these same bits manufactured reed in usa? Recently, the plastic storage pouch, which was covered with a white patch of "made in America," was purchased by me. ?

In the same factory that makes these bits, we produce them with the same materials and our own personnel. When they received some bearings and other materials they were told the FTC wouldn't allow them to make a blanket claim of made in the USA because they are purchasing these things from overseas. As of now, there have been no other changes.

If you have this bit plugged into a router or a router table, do you use this bit??

The last two times I've done it, both ways. If you don't make your plans carefully, the feed can differ quite a bit due to the spiral. Also, router bits often push your work away from the work when placed on a table. So you should make sure to hold the router down while using a table or hold the router tightly while using the router hand tool. You should use downcut bits whenever you need to cut down a piece of wood cleanly and without splinters. In situations where there is no need for a clean cut, a standard upcut bit might work to reduce depth and facilitate smoother bottoms. Up cuts reduce thickness and the bit tends to direct the router towards the wood. This can be helpful.

PERFECT FOR A CONTROL PANEL
5/5

The result is such an improvement!! The wood I cut with my CNC is made with this. About ten years ago, I used an endmill at nario 1/4” endmill before. Yet, the plywood seemed to have a stringy, rough appearance while it wasn't cutting much. I don't cut more easily than this one, and it always seems to get dull. Moreover, the cuts showed some lines (both of which I assume stem from the CNC setup, not of the bit itself). When I first ordered from Whiteside, I went ahead and put my order in. THAND I GLAD I DID! As a result of the increase in cut quality with this bit, the accuracy also increased greatly. My dimensions will now be 100% accurate thanks to the switch to this bit. MUCH. SANDING. SO. In other words, there is a virtue in allowing it. MUCH. This bit could also cost me many hours of sanding and finishing when making products to sell since I use it for this purpose. During the years I have spoken highly of Whiteside, but now I am a Whiteside evangelist. I have received many positive reviews from Whiteside, Freud and Amana bits. I know of a few suppliers who handle these cheaper bits well with just the price of one quality bit.

The countertop of the Corian is quickly cut
5/5

My countertop allows you to add an extension of the 30" gas cooktop cutout, but I cannot fit a larger 48" replacement on the countertop. Online, I compared online what options for cutting Corian were available, and I found a spiral bit as a great choice. The cutting had to be done from above as the countertop was already installed. Since a Down Cut bit minimizes chip damage, that was the best pick. Even though it was highly rated, I opted for the Whiteside version. My decision was one I made with great satisfaction. Using a plunge router for cutting felt more convenient than using an air knife. The question that was asked was difficult ictionary As there wasn't any surface to secure the edge template on, it was set up on the countertop that it was attached on. My relationship ended up being free. The cutting took place well as you gently moved the cut and took it slowly to hold the straight line. This bit is extremely sharp. For a smooth operation, I took three passes with this instrument. Cut and chipped off the Corian and deposited dust from there. To cut the perfect piece of work, make sure your tool is ready with a shop vac. From now on, you will always find the sharpness of your cutting. As a whole, I was satisfied with the purchase. In addition to cutting the wall in half, there was only one minor complication. Because the router could not get all the way to the end, there had to be clearance at the end. Having given up er last 1- Multiplying two inches will give you an inch long cut. A carbide blade is used to achieve this task. The complete cut wasn't necessary that way, so I'm happy about that. A long time would have been required. melts the plastic and generates heat.

It is one of the best routers at the price
5/5

Don't ignore feeds of this gear if you aren't paying attention. It will get along just fine. Despite their higher price, these bit-to-bit are equally good for my usage as they were for my much higher-priced CNC router bits. There might be a friend, if I didn't know them, I would recommend them.

It is sharp, but it is not as sharp as it could be
3/5

25". There are fewer people using it. My cnc had parts that did not fit within its intended size. After the first shot of the bit after hours of trouble shooting, test it and find it's smaller than you expected. 25".

The money was well spent with this little gem
5/5

Despite not being a seasoned CNC carving beginner, this starter is one of the things I purchased. A good quote is that higher quality bits will cost more, but getting what you pay for will be cheaper. I like how sharp it is and that it does a nice job. The edges of the wood do not seem to have been torn away much. Although it wasn't as expensive as the cheap ones, it has turned out to be an excellent investment. Has recommended the Amana bits that are good over at Whiteside. As far as 3D (2D) ballnoses are concerned, I just ordered a set that consists of 3 pieces from Whiteside. Having to find ways to repair my old "get what you pay" bits of plastic because 5D (6", 8") carving is doing too little anyway.

When it wasn't for the chipping on the bottom of the very thin melamine that comes standard on shelves these days, those flat bits were the ones for it
5/5

A clean edge-free slot was essential for me. If you work on this, you reap the rewards. Does it make sense, do it work?.

Having a spiral bit is a great deal since it keeps it's edge much longer than other brands
5/5

This has been on plywood in a drawer holding about 48 linear feet (8 3/4" MDF, medium density fiberboard). I find the bit is now almost as sharp as brand new once it's been on it a while. Saw blades and routers come with severe scratches from MDF. I find that the Whiteside bits are holding up very well. It wasn't long before I found that other spiral bits I had been using in MDF wouldn't last any longer than just a few months.

The material on which we live is absolute garbage
3/5

This bit is much less costly then that of cheap Chinese bits that I have also used previously. When it is cut well on the first few cuts, the dulls dramatically. This is definitely not worth your time or money. Take advantage of the last-minute spending. You will get a better deal with this product and it will last much longer.
