Yes, Trex boards can be cut with Make it Snappy Plug Cutters. ***This plug cutter should only be used in a drill press***
I would drill the laminate flooring, use the plug cutter to cut solid wood plugs, and insert the solid wood plugs in the flooring if I wanted to give it a screwed and plugged look. Plugs cut from laminate flooring should not be hammered in place, in my opinion.

Made in the United States of America. The cutter was sharp right out of the box for me. The concentricity of the tools was excellent, which isn't always the case with hex shank tools. br>I made plugs out of 1/4 ABS/PVC blend plastic to make it easier to repair damaged or incorrectly registered drilled holes in plastic parts. I make machine housings out of plastic. br>I noticed that there were a lot of complaints about the sharpness of other plug cutters on Amazon. Close inspection of the cutters revealed that the majority require more honing to function properly, or that they would never be able to do their job due to their poor quality. When considering a plug cutter, I would apply the following axiom: It'll be dull right out of the box if it looks dull in the promotional photo. Cutting faces should be crisp and proportionate in height and size. Imagine what you'll get if the ground isn't as good as it appears in the photo.
For composite decking, this plug maker is ideal. Make plugs out of your scraps for the screw holes you'll need to make. I didn't have to waste money on plugs that were the wrong color and shade. Just be careful not to press too hard on the cut-out plug. I chamfered the top of the plug because I pushed too hard when entering the material. After backing off, the plug's top was square and flat. I'm not going to buy any more plugs.
Bro. This is a fantastic tool. It performs admirably. br>br>Now I just have to get better at drilling cleaner holes in which to place them.
It's a very sharp and practical tool. it was successful.
It's a good product, but I ordered the wrong size.
It was far superior to the cutter I purchased from a local home improvement store.
Very incisive. Use in a drill press with the wood clamped down. In the drilled hole, it was a very tight fit.
