The 3900- The drift key for the 0261 MT1 is a four. 5 inches in length
The one with the number 4 is for removing a 4,5, or 6 MT shank from a sleeve. (There are four pieces in this set.)
These are, without a doubt, forged.

The quality of the product is the second point to consider. When it arrived, one was bowed, and when it was used, it broke. I'm going to make an effort to return these.
So these are stamped (or sheared) from bar stock, and the flat surface that is "drifting" over the arbor is rough with all the shear marks (which are suspiciously absent from the product photo). They might work if you give them a good whack, especially if they're lubed. You could also use a grinder to finish the surface yourself if you prefer - Why would you do that, though? A comparable Grizzly set costs around the same and comes nicely ground, finished, and ready to use.
These are exactly what I needed to take apart my old Delta Drill Press's chuck and arbor.
Nice tool.
What could possibly go wrong? I completed the task at hand.
What else can be said about steel wedges? The price was reasonable, and they exceeded my expectations in terms of doing what they were hired to do. Before giving up and ordering the proper tool for the job, I tried everything I could think of to remove the chuck spindle.
It's quite effective.
Excellent item.
