Between these two brands, choose the one with the lower price. They're made to last and are of industrial quality. I've actually used some Cleveland taper in the past. For more than 40 years, shank drills have been used. Another person mentioned sharpening, but in an industrial setting, that is to be expected. Because the manufacturer has no way of knowing how they'll be used, you can sharpen them to fit your specific project requirements. Drills that will appeal to the machinist in all of us.
It is exactly as described and as good as most other reviews claim. 5 stars all the way. Thanks.
good.
To use the drill bit, I had to sharpen it again. It wouldn't even come close to cutting. The trialing edge of the flutes came into contact with the work piece, but not the cutting edge. If you can resharpen in-house, it's a good buy for the price. Now it's working perfectly.
