Is it possible to paint them white?

As-delivered (black) is what I'm working with. They can, however, be painted.

What is the distance between the handle and the edge of the handle? Will they get in the way of the door closing as it rolls up?

I only had to adjust mine by a few inches, and they fit perfectly through the opening. We adore them.

Is it true that these are no longer manufactured?

I couldn't find anything.

What is the durability of this plastic in high-heat environments? (115 degrees Fahrenheit)?

Pieces that are solid

You have the ability to change your mind whenever you want. Our ordinary garage door was completely transformed by them! I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I'll keep you updated.
