Yes, it's suitable for a wooden garage door.
There are three pre-existing conditions. Each of the horizontal faux hinge "arms" was drilled with holes. Every arm has two holes that are 6 5/8" apart from the center hole. There are two pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing existing pre-exist both door "pulls" had holes drilled in them " The distance between those holes is 7 3/4".
I installed mine on a steel door and have had no leakage through the screw holes drilled to secure the hardware for the past eight months.
I'm not sure exactly because I used them on a house I flipped, but I was impressed with the quality of the product and the fact that you could replace the screws with longer ones if necessary. I believe the screws ranged in length from 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

This is precisely what I'm looking for, and it's of excellent quality. Nice sturdy metal with professional powder coating, makes my garage door look more expensive and less boring, installation was simple, but I wish they sent extra screws because I lost one during the install and can't find one that matches exactly, which is driving me crazy. 😁.
It's absurdly easy. It's almost comical how much of a difference this made. Pre- I would strongly recommend drilling some holes for the screws. Use a Sharpie to mark the holes, then drill and screw them in place. It looks fantastic.
I saw these on Amazon and thought they'd be easier to paint than the old ones. They arrived, and I was pleasantly surprised; they were of good quality and fit the holes perfectly. Everything went smoothly, and it looks fantastic! This was an excellent purchase.
I would buy these again because they appear to be very nice. I do wish there was a little more information before installing them, though. My garage door has "finger guards," which prevent your fingers from being pinched as it opens and closes. The finger guards came off after I installed these items on the panel with them. They must apparently be able to move freely in order to work (the finger guards). I can still open and close my garage door, and it looks fine, but I'm missing two finger guard panels:.
Because of the size, I had to have barn doors custom made, so I bought these and all of the hardware from Amazon. It's the perfect complement to my doors, and it's of excellent quality.
My only wish is that they came with small rubber washers to keep water out of the hollow garage door. Please keep in mind that if you're hanging these on a door with four horizontal panels, the handles should go under the middle seam, not above it. Ours is hung above, and it just doesn't look right.
