I recently purchased three of them. There were 18 packs in total, and all three boxes had the same issues, which I believe Amazon (and you) should be aware of. Perhaps the China vendor has changed, or their manufacturing process needs to be investigated and updated, especially if Amazon wants to keep its good name on the boxes. My family happily purchases Amazon Basic products, but this one falls short. I bought based on the high number of positive reviews, and in this case, a picture isn't worth a thousand words. 1. This isn't matte black, as some have suggested. It has a satin or eggshell finish to it. If that was the only problem, it would be fine.

Do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing these because I've noticed that a few of my doors aren't closing properly, as if the alignment is off. When the hinges opened and closed, I heard a sticky snapping noise. After reading other reviews on this site, one user suggested that I replace these with Kessler ones, which I did, and the doors now close properly and the noises have gone away. Although I couldn't find the Kessler ones in pure black like these, the brushed bronze appears to be a close match. In terms of value, I'm usually a fan of Amazon brands, but this one left me cold.

I didn't count at first, so I didn't notice until the very last door. The noise they make when you open or close a door is the WORST part about them! It doesn't even sound like a squeak--it sounds like some kind of glue. It irritates me. I'm hoping that a little grease will help. In general, the price is reasonable.
