I bought these to replace all of my exterior doors' white hinges. With just a finger push, the old hinges would perfectly close the door. I can replace hinges, but every door in the frame is now crooked and difficult to close. To make matters worse, every hinge squeaks. This is not a good idea.
The OTHER product's first image appeared to be accurate, but it was not. These are comfortable, functional, and attractive. We moved into a home where the previous owners had painted the exterior hinges white, which made them look terrible. These are a great way to spruce things up. I wish I had chosen this brand the first time.
The coating on the hinges and screws is flaking off, and there are rub/scratch marks on them. Buy double or triple what you need, because you must expect to return about 50% of each box. I would buy again because there were no problems with returns. Especially when you compare the price of this item to the price of similar products in your area.
I couldn't care less if the screws were only black on top, as some people complained. They didn't scratch when I used them instead, and they look fantastic! This update has made me very happy.
These were purchased to complement the Amazon basic mat black knob and deadbolt, and they complement each other beautifully. The door glides open and shut thanks to the excellent hinges.
It's for our main entry and it works great! It looks fantastic and goes well with the rest of our matte black hardware.
The product is well-made, and it runs smoothly. Flat black color with a great look that is evenly coated. It appears to be quite long-lasting.
What more could you ask for? The hinges are attractive, sturdy, reasonably priced, and arrived on time.
