There will be no issues.
On brick, I'm not going to be able to accomplish much. Try using an angle grinder with a wire cup brush. If the brick is soft, use a gentler brush. For instance, brass wire can be used instead of steel wire.
You are free to do so, but I would not. This pad was purchased, but it did not meet my expectations. Dust cannot be sucked out because there are no holes. Also causes DA to become hot. I sand a lot and have a few Mirka and Festool sanders that I tossed after a few minutes of sanding. It's also a bit stout. I purchased a 5 inch soft pad with holes, which is a far superior product.

It's what I use to secure my arbalon pads. It really works. It's what I use to attach arbalon pads to my random orbital sander's electric motor. I feel more comfortable wet sanding with the power tool now that I've separated myself from the surface. When sanding contoured surfaces, it also allows me to flex. Works perfectly, and I'll be purchasing another when this one wears out. However, this isn't likely to happen any time soon. This is an excellent product.
This product was tested on a DeWalt Ros and a Bosch Ros. As soon as the power was turned on, it wouldn't stay on either sander - Both units simply flew away. I can't blame it on a rusted hook because the Bosch was brand new. Look at the pad for the backing. Others have reported that this was not an issue on their Ros, but I was unable to keep it on mine.
I bought this to wet sand my car's paint job. br>I'm using it on a black computer. Decker orbital sander grips and holds very well, and it's still holding strong after a lot of use. I'm using it for wet sanding and it keeps water out of the sander's mechanism because it doesn't have any dust holes. This is a very useful tool.
For my Bosch orbital, I purchased both the medium density and soft density versions of the interface pads. The soft density is ideal for this application. The medium density will not stick to the sander in any way. The disc begins to walk off the sander as soon as I turn it on, as if it isn't balanced properly.
Like some of the others, the velcro on both sides has not begun to unravel or fall off. These are pretty tough so far, and I'll keep buying them. a one-inch sander In addition, it reduces the amount of wear and tear on your tool.
This was a more affordable alternative to a factory replacement, and it appears to be just as good, at least so far. I'm pleased with it.
This was purchased as a spacer for my electric random orbital sander, which I will be using to wet sand concrete. This raised the sander body about 1/2" off the surface, preventing water from getting into it.
It worked perfectly once I figured out how to load it onto my polisher. Despite the poor/no instructions, I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
