Questions & Answers
Yes, they function perfectly.
Food saver rolls appear to be similar in thickness. They're a hit with my Food Saver Sealer. The cutting and sealing process appears to be less difficult, and they appear to seal well and remain sealed so far.
This is my second order of these bags, and I'm pleased with them.
As long as the food you're putting in it has cooled down, you can go straight to the freezer. The vacuum bags' plastic is stronger than regular freezer bags, so they can handle frozen foods as well as the freezing environment.

br>It comes with different labels for different food products as well as its own little cutter that's perfect!br>br>I'll be buying more. br>br>Update after one month: br>These Pontane vacuum bags have seen a lot of action. I strongly advise purchasing these, and I intend to do so in the future. I'd like to see if they have any 11" models.
I've been using those "name brand" bags and rolls for years, but the price keeps rising and the quality appears to be deteriorating to the point where the name brand now has pin holes and unsealed edges. br>So I decided to see if there was a commercial product out there. This is the first item I chose to test. br>First and foremost, these are, in my opinion, THINNER than the brand-name product, but the basic design is the same, with one smooth side and the other with a crosshatch pattern to allow air to be vacuumed. The most significant differences are that the name brand bag has (barely visible) cutting guides on the glossy side, whereas this product does not, and that this product has smaller seal areas on the edge, which are still fine but allow for a bit more product in the same'size' material. br>I sous vided corn on the cob, one of the higher temperature items I sous vide and one where I've had previous failures. So far, there have been no failures with products cooked sous vide or frozen. br>I'm going to buy some more. I'll provide precise thickness values for this and the name brand product once I locate my micrometer!.
I was looking for generic bags for my vacuum sealer machine because the original ones are kind of expensive. The product is everything I was looking for within the price range I had in mind, the bags are thick so they are very resistant and work perfectly to store food in the freezer and fridge. They are large enough to be used for a variety of foods. They're great for heating food in the microwave and for boiling water because there are no leaks. I am pleased with the product and would not hesitate to purchase it again.
I just put half an avocado in one of these bags for a few days and it was still bright green when I went to use it. br>br>I like that they include labels and a cutter, both of which are very useful. They fit nicely in my kitchen drawer, and the cutter is always close at hand.
I'm hoping they'll also improve the overall strength and quality of the product. You already know how cheap these bags are. I went back to buy the Food Saver brand because it was of higher quality. The material of the Potane bags is thinner, and they tore on several pork chop bones. The bone was able to pierce through to the other side.
When I compared this bag to the original Food Saver seal bags, I discovered that this bag is thicker, and the inner bag's pattern increases the traction between the food and the bag. As a result, the food has a more secure seal. I've been sealing all kinds of meats with these bags. The bags also came with label stickers, making labeling a lot easier and more convenient. The meat is still as fresh as it was when it was purchased from the grocery store after being frozen and thawed in sealed bags. They keep the freshness for the benefit of the consumer. I adore these bags and would strongly advise you to purchase them.
These are ideal for use with a food sealer at home. br>This four-pack comes on a long roll that you can cut to your desired length and then seal. br>While not as thick as some of the designated freezer bags, these are ideal for storing documents and small items in the refrigerator, pantry, and even the freezer. br>They're thin enough to get right into the grooves of whatever you're sealing, without leaving any air gaps that could lead to blowouts later. br>It's a fantastic deal. I am pleased with my purchase.
These pieces are infinitely versatile because you can cut them to fit your needs, and if you're creative and careful, you can even clean and reuse the ones you've already used. These are far more environmentally friendly options. compared to the use- once- as well as-throw You can get away bags if you want to. You get three rolls of each size, so if you use one more than the other, you'll use up more of one. Make the necessary preparations.
