There is approximately 11 inches of height on the bag. A sealed end will likely be 5", so keep that in mind when measuring. There are seven items in the bag. This is the 5th. In a freezer bag, I can fit a good sized portion of boneless chicken breast.
These are the quart-size bags that I purchased. There is a label on the box that says "Quart Size (950 ml)." In no part of the box does it say how thick the bag is, unless 950 ml is represented as thickness.
It doesn't matter what the bags are like. Compared to each other, there is only a difference in packaging.
In addition to using this roll, I often make my own vacuum bags and vacuum something else other than food when I use a higher end model of the FoodSaver vacuum machine. In the case of food, I use the preservative They do work better compared to other bags and that's why they were made like these. Using the roll, I recommend sealing the end you won't vacuum pack several times a fraction of an inch away from the previous seal, just like the precut pipe is sealed before it goes into the machine A sealed bag is placed within the cut bags. That way, they hold better.

When I looked to buy them again today, July 5th, and the price per box is now 22 instead of 15, I purchased the bags in January 2019, again in June 2019 and again in December 2019 and again online in December 2018. The numbers 99 to 39 are normal. One quart is $99, which is a gouging of the consumer. It is caused by the COVID 19 outbreak. The FDA needs to be made aware of this scandal through a review I intend to write.
They're not as big as they appear. According to your description and picture of the product, the bags are 8" high by 11" wide. On the box of the bags I received, it says 8 x 10. Lie to me and I'll do anything to stop it! As it turns out, I only ordered these due to your false claim about the size. These items are mostly useless to me since I purchased them to freeze meat cuts that needed the length of 11 inches, so they have little use to Your company will never be able to sell to me.
There should not be so many of them at so high a price. They were washed out using soap rather than water, and they were re-cleaned Please make use of The seal can be cut off just below this point! I've had no problems with it so far.
The place I usually got them was a big box retailer, but they would never stock them anymore. My experience with Amazon was better than that of the store since Amazon not only had the item in stock but it was also less expensive and came in a larger These are great for packaging up my husband's steaks, fish fillets, and pork chops that he makes after he works Besides being sturdy, our bags seal well and have prevented freezer burn, which has saved us a lot of money. As well as for the preparation of chopped, diced or strips of peppers from my garden, I use them for some smaller items like meal prep. Having a quart pan is great because you can fit a steak in it or a pan of fajitas in it.
In a FoodSaver box and sold by FoodSaver, these bags are not the same as those described above and are not the same bags. The new bags are thinner than those in the past. The morning before I froze four packages I had to seal. In my attempt to seal the bags, I labelled four bags. They were filled with cooked ground turkey and labelled with the contents. However, none of them were able to vacuum out the air. Four of the ten bags will vacuum seal the contents after I looked through them all. As well as vacuum sealing the frozen items, I had two more to do. To seal two items from an original purchase made in 2018, I moved to an 11-inch roll after having a failure with one of these bags. There are approximately 8 other bags in this box that have not shown any problems. Today, I had a real run-in with it. It is concerning to me since I have always used FoodSaver bags because I had faith in the quality, and now I wonder if there is a problem.
Several times a year, I use roll bags to store larger items such as ribs, loins, and roasts, but mostly I use baggies due to the convenience of not having to cut and then seal both ends for every piece My preference is the Foodsaver bags over the rolls since I don't have to seal both ends like you would when using the rolls, so there is less risk of the sealing element on the Foodsaver overheating. There is one of the greatest issues I have with Foodsaver it tends to overheat after about 8 or 9 hours In just ten uses, it stops working because it melts the bag as soon as it comes in Those narrow channels in the bag that suck the air out will collapse if the sealing element gets too hot and collapsing those little channels will result in the bags not sealing. Those are also some of the reasons why the thinner off-brand bags don't seal very well when the channels collapse too.
The fact the box was plain plastic, not manufactured by the manufacturer, caused me to complain when the package was received. It's probably made in China or something like that. I have to admit, though, that they work just fine and there are no complaints.
The picture is not 8x11 as it appears in the picture. When Amazon resent another box for the error, it was the smaller size, and the extra inch makes a difference when you have ground beef or large steaks that weigh 2 pounds.
