Questions & Answers

Would someone be able to explain how to measure each of these to fit the appropriate size A baking mix will use flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and smaller types of flour (e.g. What if AI flours came in smaller sizes)?

The serving size for 2 lb of brown sugar is 7. A cup of coffee (five cups) If it fits in the 7, then it should be fine. A brown sugar container that holds 8 cups. The amount given below is for one 5-pound bag of sugar (11 lbs). A large 25 cup pitcher Possibly, it could fit in a cup container with a 12 cup capacity. This amount applies to a bag of flour weighing 5 lb (17 oz). The aim is to have 45 cups total. The 19th is the best place for it. There are nine cups of cereal in this I need more flour than how much I have to take in the labeled 16 cup container.

Would you be able to provide a measurement in pounds/ounces please? Do you think it will hold a bag of flour with a weight of 10 pounds or a bag of sugar with a weight of 5 pounds?

This 19. I know for a fact without a shadow of a doubt. There is no way to fill the 9 cup container with more than 5 pounds. Definitely not 10 pounds of flour, but a bag of flour with some room to spare. On my way home, I picked up two 5lb bags of ground beef. I need to check my bags. There was nothing I could do about it! The first time I checked the standard weights and measures There are 10 lbs marked on the measures chart. The size 19 cup is equal to 20 cups. This means that the pot holds 9 cups and by that logic should hold "almost" 10 pounds. It will come in a bag. After that, I realized that Cooking / Dry measures are not the same as the standard. According to those measures, There are 36 bags of flour in a bag. The amount of flour is 11 cups. The last thing I wanted to do was For the exact weight, you need one that holds 5 pounds. Rubbermaid Brilliance 16 cup AISN B0752ZJ5LF can hold up to 10 lbs of flour, or you can get 2 of them for a larger capacity. It is my hope that this

What will happen to brown sugar if this is applied?

There's no doubt this container line seals really well. It might be a good idea to pick up a clay 'brown sugar bear' if you don't already I really like them because they are inexpensive, cute, and B000MT65BC is the ASIN for the one I use

It is well made, but the size is just wrong for someone who bakes Weekends are usually filled with a variety of activities
3/5

As a way to organize my ingredients, I bought a set of rubbermaid brilliance containers. While the containers are nice, they are clearly not designed for someone who uses them frequently. As you can see, the flour container is designed to hold exactly one packaged bag of When I need to restock every couple weeks, which is a pretty regular occurrence for me, this is an inconvenient situation.

One year ago, I purchased this 16 cup size for storing flour, and it does, in fact, hold a 5 lb bag of flour. With the lid, I especially like how easy it is to use. It seems like the seal is working because I have not seen any pests in or around it since I cleaned the rim and lid of the container. Make sure you wipe any flour off the rim of the container and lid to ensure a good seal every time. It turns out there's a bug that lives in flour. The first sign that it's in there is a hole in the top of the As a friend of mine had the bugs (brought home from the store in the flour bag she kept in Tupperware) and it TERRIFIED me, I got this container. Now that I have inherited Asian moths that I found in a bag of unopened rice in my pantry, my life is not the same. THOUGHTS WERE BORNE OUT of a soft plastic bag and tiny web-like structures were built In my pantry, I have like cases all over. I feel like it just happened over night! My eyes fell upon the tiny webs, so I examined them more closely I find holes in the brown bag of rice I got from the store, and there are small holes in the cotton clothes I have on This damage is believed to have been caused by these moths. Honestly, if you have the money, go ahead and get the set and then build on it as much as you can, or at least get these containers for your flour and rice and build from there, as I am. If you check your flour and rice bags, make sure they are protected by a heavy plastic container with a quality seal as soon as possible. In the event that bugs are in the food, at least they will be contained, so you can eliminate them and notify the grocery store immediately. As far as I'm concerned, I keep any food that could be contaminated in the freezer, such as egg noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, and.

This is fantastic! I like how they are airtight and beautiful! The amount of flour and sugar I buy in 25 lb bags depends on how much I bake
5/5

I will use both brown sugar and powdered sugar in the two that I bought. I don't use as much of those two sugars as I used to. As of today, I am still trying to find a square container that will hold 10 pounds of flour and My pantry had been using round containers for the past 5 years, so when I realized my round containers needed replacing, I decided the rectangular shape would be better. The 16 cup size can hold a 5 pound bag of flour or sugar if you are looking for containers.

The items in the Brilliant Pantry cannot be stacked
4/5

In Rubbermaid, there are no clear distinctions between their product lines A defined term. Food Storage items from Brilliance and Pantry items from Brilliance are slightly different, with the Pantry product not stackable (highlighted in yellow in the photo). Stacking is not possible because the shape of the container is not tapered enough. This is why I gave it only 4/5 stars since it didn't have this feature. As a reminder, the items within the Pantry (untapered) stack within the Food Storage (tapered). You can choose from three types of Food Storage containers. In 2, there are four. In the seven and nine. Originally this was a 4 x 7 but I purchased it for 6 cups. Because it is designed to hold larger food servings of pasta with sauce and meatballs, the 8 cup pantry container is a better choice. However, I really love the Brilliance line for a variety of reasons (1) my dishes do not stain (2) they remain odor-free (3) they are dishwasher/microwave safe (4) they are simple (5) they are sealed tightly.

A storage container is something I would never have thought about rating
5/5

Developing an interest in a storage container, at my age of 40, is really exciting for me! There is no doubt that these containers are the most effective containers I have ever purchased. You shouldn't worry about them staining from food they wash up beautifully, and even their seal doesn't leak! a box set (like I did) and then buy additional components from Amazon (like I did) - the varying sizes can be found on Amazon for a cheaper price than if you were to buy them elsewhere.

Measurements should be kept
3/5

Rubbermaid is a great brand. Their products are leakproof and sturdy, so I have quite a lot of them This is proof, and it looks decent. In the description, I noticed the measurements were slightly different from the actual product. believe the problem lies in the fact that many of their styles have narrow containers. The one listed at 7 is this one. Although it appears to be nine inches at the top, the bottom is in fact six inches. I was buying it for a specific purpose, so I need to return it. You just need to watch the measurements with this product.

With tamping, the full bag of Masa (corn flour) fits. I highly recommend Amazon's super fast shipping services. Your estimated time of arrival was a day earlier than the actual time. There is also new packaging for Prime, however the new style box is a bit frustrating to open without damaging the product. I was able to safely move my product into the new heavy cardboard box. I commend your shipping team for their efforts. *Within the last few days, I received my order of three Rubbermaid 21 oz slender containers with the opaque effect. They were perfect for my various types of 5 lb bags. There are packages of flour. It is lovely to see this "clear" Rubbermaid Brilliance style in person. It is very convenient that the seal tight lid can be removed by a snap clip. **I had been holding off opening a new account while I was in the middle of my 3-year term. The weight of the dog was 84 pounds. To make homemade corn tortillas, I bought a package of Masa de Maiz. There have been a few customers asking if this container holds five There is less than 5 pounds of product in this bag, but it is not recommended to dump the contents of the bag into the container all at once, since mass is a denser product than flour. My method was to add the dry mass to the container gradually, tamping gently on the bottom of the container in an upright position in my stainless steel sink to level out don't like messing up because I have to clean it The final pour stage was still 1 after tamping and leveling down after the third pour stage. The dry masa has to be spooned in 5 cups at a time. All of it is in there, yes. There was almost no room for more in the new container helper. What a relief! Here I am, ready to start making tortillas. I love it. As a result, I gave this product a "4 star" for now until I am able to fully evaluate its' quality with more usage and time. At this stage, it seems to be a better choice than the alternatives. Once again, thank you! It would be great to add some product usage images to show how great this is, but there are no photo options.

This is a very nice container for storing dry goods
5/5

It doesn't seem to hold a full 5 lb bag of flour from the reviews I read. We have one too! With about a 1" space to spare it easily holds the whole bag (without any kind of packing). We like the clean, easy-to-use design of this container. You will find it easy to use and won't take up much shelf space. The plan is to purchase a couple more of various sizes to put other dry goods in.
