Yes, of course! This is the same issue that I am experiencing. My sealer will not seal the first end of a 12 inch chunk if I cut it and try to seal the first end while the other open end is still sucking in air. As a fix, I have to tape the open end of the bag with masking tape so that the machine can detect the bag has no air left inside. Once the first end is sealed, the second end will be sealed. This will allow me to take off the tape, fill the bag, and then seal the other
Sixteen feet is the length of each roll
You can cut the bag to any length you like. That will determine the number of bags per roll. It is 16 feet long for each 11" roll.
That's exactly what it is! There are no FoodSaver in these. Unpackaged rolls of "who knows what" that are not as described. Furthermore, I also ordered the 8" rolls, which were In any case, I returned the 8" right away after getting the return label, but have not received a refund yet. In a message I received from the seller, she told me the 11" were not refundable. Additionally, they made it difficult for a full refund to be obtained. The seller apparently made up excuses and sob stories and offered 30 or 40% refund in place of full refund that Amazon guaranteed. I had to contact Amazon customer service over this to find out why the seller wouldn't respond. It has finally happened. Amazon refunded me. As of now, I am still waiting for my 11" refund

Despite its seal, this product failed to work with our Food Saver Appliance. It did not vacuum seal, and it leaked during the processing. It seems that the product we received (and likely the one we ordered) is old stock (8 years) which explains why it does not work properly. Buying local is the way to go, or you have to understand that what you are paying for is not the latest and greatest product.
We bought another box of Food Saver bags yesterday (1/3/18) at our local Walmart, and they are excellent. There was a difference that we could see and feel. Food Saver offers a different product than Amazon delivered, so I believe it was simply a matter of newest product is better and the product Amazon delivered was not the same product as the current Food Saver product.
These aren't really the Food Saver bags named after the company. In addition, Jarden often experimented with new designs, so the files may have also had some additional trash about how they could look. It is not a place I would recommend buying bags from.
FoodSaver bags that do not exist. It wouldn't be a big deal for me to buy knockoff FoodSaver bags if they were advertised as such and priced accordingly, but don't expect to receive original FoodSaver bags when you buy these. I received it in a sealed bag, not in a box as seen in the picture. There is no FoodSaver name or logo on the bag, and neither is there a white date/label strip, which is seen on all original FoodSaver bags. on which the bags come rolled is very thin and cheap, which might not seem like much of a deal but is a telltale sign they are not original, since I have always noticed how thick and rigid those cardboard rolls are after years of buying directly from FoodSaver. Buying these products at your own risk, knowing they are just knockoff bags which may or may not work as well as the real thing.
We shouldn't allow this seller to use Amazon's name to sell goods. Upon receiving the package, I was about to file a fraud complaint. I was just about to file a fraud complaint As I examined the "Food Saver Bags", I found that they were completely knock-offs made in China and not the official Food Saver brand at all. do not meet the advertised quality and are not even the advertised length. Additionally, I found that these bags do not hold up to the standards of the Food Saver brand and they easily tore. The product sold by this seller is not something I would recommend to anyone. I will never buy it from them again.
I was told by the company that they would make it on time. After receiving it, I discovered it was a knock off, and the Food Saver brand wasn't what was advertised. The company told me they are still working after I got in touch with them again.
However, it is evident that they are not. I compared them to the ones I normally purchase from Walmart and the ones that came with my food saver. These are very inferior and do not vacuum well or seal tightly and feel like the inside of the tube is coming out. I will not be buying these products.
The reviews of others convinced me to purchase these bags. Had I bought them from the store, my credit card would have been charged. Food saver bags I have used previously do not seal as well as these do. After going into my freezer for the first time, I discovered the bag had come loose and the food had become freezer burnt. You can save plenty of money by shopping from trusted sources or going to the store with knowledge of what to buy.
This subsequent purchase exceeded my expectations as it did not have the typical green and white Food Saver box with 11 inch "rolls" to be cut to desired length, but instead contained a brown box with a Food Saver sticker containing the words "prepackaged" Cut the bags to eight inches wide by eleven inches Since I am not satisfied or going through a return process, I plan to buy them somewhere else in the future, where I can physically see them before making a purchase. In the photo, I indicated that I needed rolls cut to my desired length that were 11" wide.
