These bags are the best value for money you'll find anywhere! They came highly recommended from a friend, so I gave them a try and was not disappointed. Foodsaver bags can be expensive, but I was worried about the quality of a less expensive brand, so I figured I could use them on foods where an air leak wouldn't be a big deal if they turned out to be subpar. These bags, on the other hand, are absolutely fantastic! They're just as durable, thick, and easy to vacuum out! They come in a poly bag that is sturdy enough to keep them in, so I don't have to worry about keeping them organized. But, at the rate I'm going through them, that shouldn't be an issue. br>I've ordered the gallon, quart, and now the pint size, which I prefer because it allows me to freeze individual meat servings. Because I live alone and don't have access to a nearby store, I buy good meats in bulk and freeze them. I also have relatives who give me venison treats, so I package it in single portions and bake homemade bread for them as "payment," which I will prepare ahead of time. When I see them again, I will freeze them and vacuum seal them in gallon bags. br>This last shipment took a little longer to arrive, but I can't really blame Amazon because I was ordering other items that they may have been waiting for to arrive, so I can't really blame them. I'll buy from you again without a doubt.

I was overjoyed to discover a Food Vac bag in a pint size. These little ones don't let you down. The bag is a little more substantial than the "Food Saver" bags. They sealed nicely in my Food Saver (a few reviews of the more commercial versions cautioned that too thick bags do not always work in every food sealer)br>br>I was looking for a brand that was durable, and these are definitely that! br>br>You will get a lot of bang for your buck. It also saves time to have a pint-sized version. I don't have to make my own bags by cutting them from a roll and resealing them. br>br>I also bought their Quart-sized bags, which are also quite nice.

They've reached the age of 99. 5 as good as possible as possible% While the name brand lasts longer and holds the air out a little bit longer, it's almost three times the price of these, which I've used for years and have never been disappointed with. I used them to prepare raw meat. Cooked meats and proteins, sauces, soups, freshly made dough, and just about anything else. Items can last up to a year in the refrigerator, and in some cases, even longer. FoodVac keeps a wide range of products in stock and ships them out quickly - (which you can only get in Massachusetts) DON'T squander your hard-earned cash on the brand name. Get these as soon as possible.

I've purchased these bags before (in a 50/50 pint/quart package), and these are not the same quality as the ones I've received in the past. br>br>When I opened the package of pint bags, I noticed that they seemed to be less thick, particularly on the textured side, and the texture is also quite a bit finer than the bags I've received in previous orders (I compared these to the last two bags I had), which may contribute to them appearing to be br>br>I just tried to use these and (imagine holding the bag with the opening open and the non-opening side facing you) 5 out of 7 bags' right hand side seams opened right up (textured side facing me). Without putting any strain on it, the heat seal broke down. Very dissatisfied. br>br>.

Because of the lower cost per unit, I chose these over brand-name bags. These are a lot less expensive than the name-brand versions, and they're just as good. I get 100 of these for the same price as 32 brand-name ones! br>br>The only difference I can see is that they don't have a printed area for writing on like the brandname ones do. I'll be purchasing these in the future.

I usually cook a lot of food and store leftovers in these bags. In the refrigerator, food keeps longer and tastes better. When thrown in the freezer, there is no risk of burn. Make a tight seal. The contents can be reheated by par boiling them. A low-cost method of extending the life of food while maintaining its freshness.

We've spent a lot of time trying to figure out why this is the case - Is it the presence of moisture, food particles, oil, or wrinkled bags? We are unable to locate any information. br>br>All I know is that I have to take the food out of the bag about a third of the time, throw it away, and try something new. It's inconvenient, wastes time, and reduces the value of this product. br>br>Also, double-seal the end of this product - This product's seal is less consistent than the Food Saver brand, and we've had air seep back into the bag while it was in the fridge.
