Questions & Answers
The heating element is located on the bottom of the FoodSaver units, while the white band is located on top. Shouldn't melt if pressed against a cold surface. In the event that the bags are turned inside out. It will melt when it comes into contact with the heating element. Other brands may have the heating on top, which would be inconvenient.
Regrettably, China is one of the world's most populous countries.

I can't compare them to other brands because this is the first time I've used them in my sealer, but I'd be happy with them if it weren't for one thing: When I seal them, the white strip melts onto my machine's sealing bar, leaving a white line. I couldn't figure out why my bags weren't completely closing before I realized what was going on. Everything is fine now that I remember to rub the white substance off the sealer strip after each use. Otherwise, I'm taking a chance on the build-up. This appears to be what prevents it from eventually sealing. The fact that I have to constantly rub the white stuff off is wearing down that sealer bar, which is my main concern. and that, after a while, may cause my machine to stop working properly! I will not purchase this brand again, and I do not recommend it to anyone who plans to cook with it. Bags should be sealed.
I was thrilled to see these with a designated space for writing what's in the bag. I'm also glad to see two sizes, as the 11" can be a bit too big at times. I haven't tried them yet, but I am confident that they will be successful.
We had stopped using our vacuum sealer for a while because the bags had become so expensive, but we discovered these bags at a great price and they work just as well as the more expensive bags.
I've had a food saver for years and would gladly trade it for anything. The bags I received are excellent; they outperform all other bags I've tried.
I used a Foodsaver system that was 20 years old. It's impossible to tell the difference between these and brand-name rolls. br>br>I used sous vide with vacuum bags for the first time to re-hydrate meat. leftovers should be heated Set it up, go for an hour of exercise, shower, and dinner will be ready in no time.
These are extremely effective. Good value for money and simple to use.
These are thin and flimsy; for quality and freshness, use ACTUAL Foodsaver bags.
This was far more than I could have asked for. I needed the smaller rolls for a compact food saver, and I was able to give the larger rolls to a family member.
