Because of the way it was built and designed, the unit is quite sturdy. However, I'm not sure what to say if it has been altered in any way. The three legs' bottoms are screwed together. Even if the bottom of the bathtub or shower stall is not flat but concaved upward for drainage, in feet that are easily adjustable to eliminate any wiggling
That's how I'm using mine; the finish will dull over time, but there will be no visible damage as a result of being wet. Teak wood shower benches were used in a hotel I visited several years ago. As a result, I've made the decision to use teak in my home.
Since August 2019, I've been using it twice a day with a daily shower.br>It's still going strong.
12x12x40 1/2 is the correct size. It's an excellent shelf for the shower or bath. There are two of them in my possession. I hope that this information is useful.

This is a fantastic teak table for the shower that I highly recommend! The wood appears to be of good quality, and the fit was excellent; the hardware is stainless steel. It was simple to put together, and the dimensions were ideal for replacing an old teak stool in our shower. The bottom feet can be adjusted, which is ideal for shower floors. br>At least 2 times a day, this unit is wet. 3 times a day is a good rule of thumb to follow. The wood appears to be conditioned upon arrival, and while teak does well in wet environments by nature, we dislike the gray color that teak develops as it ages or is exposed to the elements. If you want to keep the original color but want to protect it from the elements, I recommend applying Teak Oil to all of the wood surfaces before putting it together. I made use of Star- Brite Premium Teak Oil is a great product that goes on smoothly (I've used it on boats before). The oil really got into the cutouts in the shelving for the support rods. The rest of the table absorbed the oil lightly, but we made sure to wipe away any excess after about 5 minutes, or it would feel sticky. (Refer to the teak oil product's instructions). I intend to apply teak oil to this at least once every six months. Water beads and runs off the shelf, and I expect the nice color to last a long time. br>Our previous shower stool was teak, and it lasted over 15 years and is still going strong. This table, in my opinion, will last at least as long as the previous one. If anything changes, I'll make sure to update this review.
It is well-made. This is fantastic! I was on the verge of purchasing a different model with guardrails. I was afraid that my products would fall off the side, but after comparing the sizes, I decided to buy this one because it can definitely accommodate larger bottles and many products without feeling the need to stuff it to the brim and have a lot of things fall off the side. It looks beautiful and it is definitely nice and large, allowing for plenty of products to be placed on it. It has leveling feet, but I didn't have to adjust them because they were already perfectly level, so all I had to do was set it in the corner. It appears to have been treated beforehand. To be safe, I sprayed it with teak oil.
My husband's shower is being renovated, and as part of the plan, I insisted that he replace the rusted and soap-stained shower door. He has a scum-covered corner shower caddy made of plastic and metal. For looks and durability, I knew teak was the best option. He stated that he desired a tall dress. This was the tallest one I could find, and the color was perfect. Wood wainscoting and medium birch-stain closets are featured in the bathroom. All of the other teak corner shelves I came across were either extremely light or extremely dark in color. This one is a perfect match, so it appears to be a natural fit! We were pleasantly surprised at how well-made the box was when we first opened it. The wood had been finished. With only a little assistance from me, my husband put it together. Putting the legs on was a breeze for him. They were color-coded, I noticed. The legs were assigned to a specific side of each shelf using color-coded stickers. I intend to use teak oil to keep the color, but I haven't done so yet because we haven't had the shower work done yet, and I won't let him use it in the filthy shower. After we've been using it for a few months, I'll update this.
What a lovely piece! I bought teak oil to stain the piece first, as suggested by other reviews, and it turned out beautifully! It's in the corner of my shower, under the shower head, so it doesn't get too much direct water, and it holds a lot! We had plenty of room on the shelf to store all of our shampoo, soap, and other items. The leveling legs are ideal for a shower stall with slanted walls. This item is extremely durable. In the future, we intend to purchase a second piece, this time a smaller one, for towel storage.
Beautiful wood and a very sturdy shelf. The only thing I'll say is that it's large, but the dimensions are provided. Make certain to take accurate measurements. br>There are a few others on Amazon as well, but they all come with fixed feet. Unless you have one of those cool euro perimeter drain showers, your shower will have some pitch to it, and if you don't adjust it, your shelf will rock like a sailing ship in a storm. Ours easily leveled out and accommodated all of our shower essentials.
We recently purchased a new home, and the master bathroom features a large shower but no built-in shelving to store shampoo, soap, and other toiletries. We purchased this as a solution, and it has proven to be very effective. It's a study with a lot of shower supplies (shampoos, soaps, shaving supplies, etc. ). All of the legs are adjustable, so getting level was a breeze. It appears to be in excellent condition, and I would strongly advise purchasing it.

This is a fantastic bathroom shelf. I'd hoped for something tall and slim that didn't take up as much space as our current one. I looked all over for this one and decided to take a chance- It's exactly what I was looking for. When I first opened the box, I was blown away by the high quality of the wood. It was incredibly simple to put together, and I'm not particularly good at it. It fits perfectly into the corner of our walk-in shower and takes up very little room while holding everything our bulky bath table used to hold. The wood has a nice color to it that goes well with our cabinets. I like how tall it is because I can put my razor, soap, and face wash on top and it's easily accessible. I am overjoyed.
