Questions & Answers
Yes, you can, but you'll need to take accurate measurements and secure them to the wall properly.
It is, in fact, 7. The distance between the shelves is 75".
It still isn't very stable because it has screw holes on three sides that touch the wall. Outside of a corner, I wouldn't suggest mounting.
Although it is not made of real wood, it is extremely durable and attractive.

I wanted to use it in an unused corner for some of my cookbooks and other items. I like the way this turned out and how it was put together. I wish the space between the shelves was a little wider so that I could fit some of the items I wanted on them. Only 7. Without laying books down, books up to 75" tall will fit.
It's a good-looking, sturdy shelf that's simple to assemble. However, I intended to use it as a bookshelf, and only the top and bottom shelves (from the floor to the bottom shelf) are large enough to hold most books. You can, however, lay books down and stack them in this manner, but you'll wish the shelves were an inch or two higher.
I was looking for something to fill an empty corner of my guest room that wasn't too big or overpowering when I came across these nice-looking shelves. br>br>Easy to put together, though you will need a screwdriver with a shorter handle, as others have mentioned. I was fortunate enough to possess one. br>br>Easy to hang, with drilled holes for plastic anchors to be inserted into the wall, and then the unit screwed into the anchors. br>br>Each shelf is just under 8 inches tall, so only small items should be placed on these shelves. I still need to add a few more things to it. br>br>The finish isn't my favorite. The dark stain on the wood grain creates some interesting patterns that don't quite match the rest of the room, but that's fine. In general, I'm pleased.
Overall, this is a pretty straightforward shelf, and I really like it. The assembly does not require any special tools and is fairly simple to complete on your own. It will be difficult to get it flush with the wall if you live in an older home or apartment with molding and uneven walls. I had no trouble resting mine on the top ridge of the floor molding, and since I won't be keeping anything heavy or fragile on the shelves, I'm not concerned about it not being completely flat against the wall. Overall, it's a great little shelf with a nice appearance.
Shelves are simple to put together and hold up well once done. Also, because of its light weight, it is easy to hang on the wall. br>It's worth noting that the predrilled screw holes should be slightly deeper to make assembly easier. I increased the depth of them. Assembling in seoerste sections, as shown in the diagram, can also make the process easier. This prevents you from having to tighten screws in a cramped space due to shelf spacing. If you find yourself in this situation, a short screw driver with a "large" handle can come in handy.
Although the space between the shelves could have been a little larger, it still does the job.
The wood texture is excellent, and each panel is fairly sturdy. Because an electric drill does not fit in most areas where screws are required, I would recommend having a short screw driver on hand. But, in the end, it looks fantastic and is a wonderful addition to our home.
I bought these in the hopes of being able to separate them like the last set I bought, but they all have predrilled holes, so they must all be connected. I'm thinking about returning them to see if there are any others that are similar.
