I'm not sure about that particular weight, but I have a large mountain bike with 29" wheels that works fine and comes with four screws to secure it to the wall. I screwed my screws into the stud in the wall. If you do that, I think you'll be fine. I hope this has been of assistance.
The hook cannot be switched in the opposite direction.
The only way to change it is to go up and down.
This isn't going to stand the test of time. The drywall will begin to deteriorate, and the mount will begin to pull away.

During COVID, I needed to hang a bike inside to free up some floor space in a small house. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Despite the fact that drywall anchors are included, the installation instructions state that it should be mounted on a stud. Despite the fact that I mounted it on a stud, I believe that the anchors would suffice for a light racing bike. The included hardware is said to be bad in some reviews of a similar product (the hook without the rear wheel wall guard). That isn't the case any longer, in my opinion. The rear wheel guard is made of cheap, glossy plastic, and the screws I received were not the same as those shown in the reviews, but they drove into my studs without issue. If I had to buy it again, I'd get just the hook and use a felt pad or something similar at the back wheel's contact point.
a low cost Vertical bicycle hanger is a great idea. Installing it was a breeze. The mounting screws, on the other hand, are not the best, and if a large and deep enough pilot hole is not drilled, the screw heads will strip. The back wheel tray is made of plastic, as has already been mentioned. I would have gladly paid a few dollars more for a rack that included a bottom wheel tray made of the same material as the front wheel tray. I'm not always sure why manufacturers make cost-cutting choices.
The Dirza wall mount bike rack has left an impression on me. The hook is made of durable rubber-coated metal, and the plastic base appears to be made of high-impact plastic. The mounts were simple to install, but because I was screwing them directly into a wall stud, I had to use my own dry wall screws, which were longer. The hooks were mentioned in previous reviews as being a little difficult to use with larger/wider mountain bike wheels, and I agree. My tires fit, but they're tight, so putting the wheel on and off the hook takes a little finesse. If my tires were any wider, the hook would have to be bent to accommodate them, and putting the mount into just dry wall with the anchors would cause it to rip out of the wall the first time you tried to remove the bike. The Dirza wall bike mount rack is an excellent value for the money.
The stand is pretty sturdy for the price. br>br>Make sure they're screwed to the stud and you'll be fine; the only issue is that the plastic covering is a little loose and will need to be adjusted every time you unload and load the bike.
This is meant to be used with normal wheels. If your tires are larger than 40mm, you may have problems. Be wary of the buyer!.
I was able to clear out a section of my garage in the lower level.
Ever. It took me longer to get the bike onto the hook than it did to put this together. It was incredibly simple, and it saved me a lot of space in my garage.
