Questions & Answers
Between the mounting holes on the vertical bracket, there is about a 7" gap.
Yes, the two-bike pack includes two bicycles. They are extremely durable and simple to set up. Make a point of finding the stds in the wall.
I drilled a hole in the stud and screwed it in place. When fully extended, it measures 15" deep.
The cost of a stud finder is fairly low.

needs to be changed These have a good out-of-the-box experience and will work well on lighter bikes. br>It comes with some beefy screws, and if your bike is under 30 pounds, it will be rock solid when mounted to studs. br>br>My Giant bike is a tad heavier than my wife's, and while hers appears to be rigid, mine angles down ever so slightly due to its weight. So, if you have a heavier than average bike, here are two simple modifications I recommend:br>br>- Because the head is barely large enough to prevent it from going through the mount hole, use washers when mounting the screws (or use different screws with a wider head). This is something that a washer can help with.
- Drill a second hold below the first on the top half, giving the top half TWO screws. (This is where you'll be carrying the majority of your weight and stress. ) Gravity and the weight of the bike will pull you upwards rather than downwards. The top should really have two mounting points, and the single bottom screw should be enough to keep things stable. br>br>Benefits: br>br> br> Because the mounting holes are stacked one on top of the other, you can use a single screwdriver to secure everything. stud in a line br> Allows you to mount your bikes on the wall side by side or one on top of the otherbr> Mounted these on the wall and cleaned up my garage floorbr>br>CONS:

NOTES: br>br>
- Measure the distance between the mount's base and the hooks' ends.
- Measure the distance between the outside of the pedal and/or handlebar and the top tube of your bike.

If you're driving at Mid-Speed, the bar or pedals may hit your side mirrors. height.
I'm a small woman, a grandmother, and that was a challenge I didn't expect to face. These bike racks have no flaws and are exactly what they claim to be. However, keep in mind that if you're hanging one bike on top of another, the top bike will have to be lifted extremely high. I considered mounting these racks low along a long wall, beside each other, to avoid having to lift the bikes that far—but that wouldn't save any space next to the car. br>br>In the end, I returned these and replaced them with a rope/pulley bike rack with hooks under the seat and handlebars. It's much easier for me to pull the rope to hoist the bike up from the floor to the ceiling than it is for me to lift the bike by hand onto these racks. br>br>I write honest reviews to assist others in making well-informed purchases because I value the information they provide. I hope you found my evaluation useful!.
Excellent value for money! When I first opened the box, I was skeptical about the sturdiness of this hanger, but after putting it together, I'm convinced it's the best value for money when it comes to bike wall mounts. br>br>It has a very simple design, and I don't see myself needing another mount in the future. When the mount isn't in use, it folds up neatly. br>br>I thought the installation would be simple, but the wall screws require a 10mm socket to drive into the wall. To screw it on the stud, you can't use a drill with a standard drill bit. It would have been preferable if it had been a torx screw. That said, it's a minor annoyance, and most households should have a spare 10mm socket on hand. Your installation will be much easier if you drill a pilot hole where you'll drive the screw. br>br>It's also worth noting that you get two hangers for this price. If I needed bike hangers again, I wouldn't even consider looking at other brands.
I'm afraid I'll rip the entire device off the wall because the red hangers seem to move around a lot. I simply remove my bike with extra caution, using my thumbs to keep the red hangers in place. br>br>However, you get what you pay for, and I am pleased with my purchase. Obviously, a stud should be drilled into them. These things aren't going anywhere.
It took me only 5 minutes to set up this device. All you have to do now is make sure the mount is installed into a stud. It feels extremely safe, and it's great to have my bike out of the way when I'm not using it, freeing up valuable garage space. br>br>You also get two, which is fantastic. It was such a good deal. I would strongly suggest it.
Exposed long bolts make this the worst bike holder I've ever seen. Because the nuts aren't nyloc, they won't stay put (keep your toolkit handy to tighten it up once a week). You'll have a hard time changing the holder from horizontal to vertical for storage because you'll have to unscrew a nut, move the handle up or down, and then re-screw it. Ensure that the nut is securely fastened. Because the wall mounting screws are excessively long and disproportionate, you'll need to pre-install them. If you don't drill holes in your studs to install this holder, your wall studs will crack and your drywall will fall apart. Do not attempt to install this without first using a stud finder. This bike holder CANNOT be mounted on drywall alone.
