Everything, I believe, stays in place to the extent that it should. The hook does not come into contact with any spokes when it is properly positioned on the tire.
We use it to store our bikes on a daily basis.br>Kids can use it to hang their bikes because the racks come in separate pieces that can be installed at two different heights to suit kids and adults.
I'm assuming you're referring to the plate's screws coming loose from the wall? I never imagined the wall on which I hung it would be able to support the weight of the bikes, as I believe you did. The rack pieces were installed on a bare wall with only Sheetrock covering it. I started by attaching a 2 x 4 to the wall studs (16 inches apart) and then attaching the rack pieces to the 2 x 4. To store our four bikes in my utility room, I took a long time to find a sturdy, reasonably priced bike rack. br>This was a big hit! br>I purchased the 6-bike option and appreciated the fact that the rack was not a continuous one. I was able to easily install two side by side to hold four bikes, and I reserved the other two rack pieces for our helmets and camel packs on a lower level. br>Extremely well-made, heavy-duty hooks that are simple to set up. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to use it indoors or outdoors.
The product arrived the next day, and we were able to set it up quickly. br>br>In order to save space in our garage, we needed to get creative. We have three children and two adults who own bicycles. A small balance bike, a 12 inch bike, a 20 inch bike, a 26 inch bike, and a 26 inch tricycle are among the items available. It's well worth the money. Let's see how it performs over the coming months. It will be a LOT easier to park our cars in the garage now.
It does exactly what it claims. The reason for the four stars rather than five is that you must be careful when removing and reassembling the bike, as it scratched one of my rims.
This rack met all of my requirements. It appears to be sturdy and can hold two bicycles. I like how the bikes can be hung in various positions.
I don't write reviews very often, but this bike rack is fantastic. It's extremely simple to set up. We installed it in our garage, where, despite the fact that there are enough studs to anchor it to, the prefabricated holes did not line up with the studs on the wall. I used a drill bit to make my own hole in the metal so I could screw it into a stud, and it worked perfectly. I would definitely buy from them again!.
It's a good value.
This rack has helped us free up a lot of space in our garage.
