Because of its weight, this weighted blanket is ideal. This blanket does not have a cooling function. It only adds to my lust for life. I'm also a hot sleeper, and the only thing that's kept me cool enough to sleep at night is one thing. Eight's "The Pod Pro" is what I'm referring to. I have a Sleep Number bed and needed something to keep me cool in the summer. The pod pro has been the best thing I've ever bought.
The blanket isn't supposed to hang over the edge, according to the rules. It'll be pulled off by the weight. Having said that, I sleep alone in a king-size bed. I sleep with my queen-sized blanket folded and tucked around me. Unless you intend to share with a sleeping partner, I don't think the size matters all that much.

I felt compelled to write a review after four nights of deep, restful sleep. I'll admit that I was skeptical at first, but as I've gotten older, my insomnia has gotten worse. I was taking over-the-counter sleeping pills, but I wasn't happy with the results, so I read a lot of reviews and shopped around until I found this one in the most beautiful green, 20 60"x80". It appeals to me greatly. I've been sleeping exceptionally well for the past four nights, and my Fitbit tracker is alerting me to the fact that the quality of my sleep has improved. It took me one night to adjust, but now I eagerly anticipate going to bed. There will also be no more sleeping pills! All of the positive things said about this lovely blanket are true. Try your luck with this one. You won't be dissatisfied with the results. This is a stunning piece. Love it!.
Glass beads are supposedly cooler than plastic, so I like that it has them. I haven't noticed any beads leaking out or shifting to different parts of the blanket because it is well made. The weight is distributed evenly and does not shift. I bought it because I wasn't sure if a weight blanket would help me sleep and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. It turned out to be a wise decision.
I'm 115 pounds and tried a 12 pound and a 15 pound and both were too light for me. Finally settled on the 18lb and’m finally feeling the calming effects, so if you like pressure, I’recommend ordering up from the 10% of the recommended body weight. Keep in mind that the weight is evenly distributed throughout the blanket, so you won't feel the full force of the listed weight all over. The only other thing to mention is that mine is prone to lint accumulation.
I've been looking for a blanket like this. The weight and warmth are ideal for me. I frequently wake up hot, but this blanket, despite its heavier weight, does not keep the heat out. It is suitable for use throughout the year. Keep your duvet if you're prone to getting cold while sleeping. I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone who requires extra weight due to anxiety, Restless Leg Syndrome, or other reasons, even if there is no financial benefit.

The weight was ideal, but I began to notice a sandy sensation in my bed and realized that the blanket was leaking glass particles. Fortunately, I had a duvet, which caught a lot of the sand before it spread all over the bed, but it also meant that I didn't notice the leak until later. Trying to get the sand out of the sheets and duvet was the most difficult part. I can still feel some grains, and I can see some sparkles in my duvet. All I can hope for is that it will be released at some point.
