Hello, if you want to wash it in the machine, use cold water and gentle mode, and do not tumble dry it. Thanks.
Hello, according to research, the extra weight's pressure mimics deep pressure stimulation, which aids in nervous system relaxation. Thanks.
Hello, the fabric is made of 100% cotton, which is soft and breathable. Thanks.
I've been having a lot of trouble getting my three-year-old to sleep, to the point where he'll stay up until midnight. Every day at 1 a.m., and every day at 7 a.m., he wakes up. 30am! We were about to seek treatment because he refused to nap and was becoming so sleep deprived (melatonin wasn't helping), so we bought this blanket as a last resort, and it has literally changed our lives. At 8 p.m., my toddler will go to sleep. Since we began using this "heavy blankie," it has been 9 p.m. EVERY DAY! I can't speak for all toddlers, but it was exactly what my son needed to fall and stay asleep at night, and he loves it.

I went ahead and bought it anyway, and I'm in love with it! I'm going to have to go out and get some more. Ideal for autistic children or those with sensory issues - in addition to being extremely cute!.
I usually wait a few days before writing reviews, but this blanket arrived today, and my two sons and husband have been stealing it from each other all day. It has a lovely appearance, is warm, and is well-made. The weights are evenly distributed throughout the blanket, resulting in a pleasant even pressure. It's almost like being hugged or cuddled without being breathed on. br>br>After trying this product, I'll be looking into adult-sized weighted blankets!.
I ordered this blanket for my 2-year-old son, who still wakes up at night, and there's nothing about it that we don't like. Before bedtime, he enjoys naming all of the animals, and I appreciate how thick, soft, and well-stitched the material is. The weights are evenly distributed throughout the blanket and are small enough that you won't notice them moving when you move beneath it. Even the weights appear to be smooth and lump-free. Even though this blanket is heavy, the material breathes well enough to be used in the summer. So far, he's only woken up once rather than multiple times per night.
a person who is smaller than the average - It doesn't even come close to covering her. I understand that these are supposed to be smaller than a regular blanket, but she is barely covered in all directions. In every other way, it performs as expected. The print is adorable, and I like that it can be worn by both boys and girls.
This was for my four-year-old son who was having bedwetting issues as well as some anger/anxiety issues, and it worked! So what do I do when I tell her to go to bed and she screams and yells and hits the furniture? I grab this blanket, wrap it around her, and place her on my lap. She basically calmed down instantly, and, more importantly (from a mother who has tried everything), she didn't pee the bed! If you've tried everything to get your child to stop peeing in his or her bed, or if you just have a child who gets a little crazy and needs some help to calm down, this is the product for you. The price is unbeatable, and the quality is excellent. I'm ecstatic that I purchased it!.
The weight of the blanket is ideal for a young child who is having difficulty sleeping. It's like a small hug for their body, letting them know they're not alone. The print is adorable, and the colors are vibrant. The load appears to be distributed fairly evenly. I'm going to get a cover to make cleaning and caring for it easier. The first time I used it, my child slept through the night, which was fantastic. Great find!.
This blanket appeals to me. Chemotherapy is about to begin for me. I'm not as afraid of radiation now that I'm wearing this blanket. It'll be the ideal size, in my opinion.
We were both losing a lot of sleep, and I heard that using a weighted blanket can help. I got a plush type from a local store at first, but he didn't like it, and he's a bit of a heater, so it was a bad fit. br>br>I wasn't sure if a weighted blanket would work for him, but the cool design, jungle print, and low price convinced me to give it another shot. br>br>I'm grateful. He is an animal lover, so he was quick to accept. He actually let me put the blanket on him, which is unusual for him because he usually dislikes having things on him at night. He's started to get rid of it now and then, but I can't deny how much it's helped. br>br>He began attending a program in addition to therapy, and he has had a few meltdowns as a result of sensory overload, during which the blanket was extremely helpful in calming him down.
