It should be the exact same size as your iron board and fit like a second skin.
I just looked at our ironing board, and it appears that the cover can be tightened enough to fit. If you're not sure, call their representative-- I believe his phone number or email address is listed on the Amazon website, and he is extremely helpful.
Remember to choose one that is about an inch or two longer and wider than your board. A larger cover can always be tightened, but a cover that is too short cannot be lengthened or widened.

You won't believe it, but my ironing board is from the 1970s. In comparison to modern ironing boards, these ironing boards are much larger. It's fantastic that I was able to find a cover that fits my book perfectly, and the quality of the cover is excellent. Yes, I continue to iron. which, I'm sure, is incredible to hear for anyone! LOL!.
I'm 67 years old and have always despised ironing (my mother, on the other hand, adores it and makes me do it: )) Now I'm having fun with it and am pleased with the results.
I have an ironing board from a high-end department store. famous at the end a store that sells home goods The U, on the other hand, appears to be an unusual size. It's a little shorter than usual, but it's a little wider. My old cover had ink transfer from a washed pen on it, and that ink was now transferring to other items. This new cover has a thicker feel to it. padded and with a high-quality leather finish surface suitable for ironing. It appears to be a little too big (maybe an inch?). I left the original thin cover on the board and installed this over it to help alleviate any wrinkling or puckering. This is very effective - The cover is no longer oversized, and the extra layer prevents the metal board's pattern from showing through on ironed items. Now all I need to do is remember not to wash any more ballpoint pens.
It's everything they say they're going to do! It's fantastic. It fits perfectly. Unless you iron the web to the cover on the second day you own it: (I can't tell you how disappointed I am that my lusted-after TIVIT is a disgusting sight to behold. ) It was a significant investment, and I now have to live with the consequences of my blunder "forever. My mother's ironing board cover's padding had completely crumbled and the cover had ripped, so when I went shopping for a new one, I wanted something that would last a long time, but so many of the options were one-time use only. one-size-fits-all I didn't want wrinkles on top and a ton of extra fabric and padding underneath my mother's ironing board, which is on the small side. This TIVIT ironing board cover is a little more expensive than others, but it's still a good deal, and it looks great! Not only is it the right size for her ironing board, but it also has a drawcord and several stretchers that are all simple to use. free. We haven't had it for long, so I can't speak to its durability, but it has both foam and felt padding, so I expect it to last.
I was overjoyed to receive this replacement cover for my 30-year-old Italian-made Euro Pro ironing board, as I had custom-made one several years prior after a fruitless search. It took 3 days to arrive via Economy (free shipping!). In the packaging, it was wrinkled. All wrinkles have vanished after a quick and painless installation and trial. Its size (53" x 18") is perfect for my ironing board, thanks to the bungee cord construction and three generous Velcro tapes. For the future, I've just purchased another. I doubt I'll need it any time soon because it's well-padded and made of high-quality materials! Thank you very much!.
With the caveat that we haven't owned or used this cover long enough to accurately assess its sturdiness and durability, the cover appears to be a very durable and substantial cover that will last and resist accidental misuse. Although simple to understand, installation does necessitate some effort, which is required by and results in a good tight fit once completed. Because the cover stretches to give you a few inches of leeway lengthwise, but there isn't much leeway for the width of your ironing board over its widest part, make sure to measure it and buy the right size.
