The pocket measures 9"x14" and can hold a 9"x6"x3" ham.
'Made in China,' according to the tag. Unfortunately, it's the only ironing board cover that fits my very old ironing board, and this is my third Laundress cover. It can only be spot cleaned, and I've never had much luck with that. Every now and then, my iron spits out some nasty stuff.

My board is 54 inches long, but only 18 inches wide, so it still bunches. A TIE CORD ON THE BOTTOM IS REQUIRED. On the front, there is a hanging "iron-sized bag" about where I stand. Closure is by a single button. It's not something I'd risk putting my iron in. As a tear ruins an iron that is worth more than the cover, so a tear ruins an iron that is worth more than the cover. My cover will most likely be cut off and straps sewn on to keep it in place. THIS COVER WILL FIT BOARDS THAT ARE LARGER THAN WHAT IS STATED, INCLUDING WIDTH. AND IT'S LONGER BY 3 INCHES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS WITHOUT ANY EXTRA PAD. My board is 54 x 18 inches wide, and I have plenty of material left over to pull and sew on tie straps. by hand.
I'm one of those crazy women who irons everything, so a good ironing board cover is a must for me. This cover is well-fitting and perfectly secures the board. To do quality ironing, you need a good cover, and this one fits the bill perfectly.
I'm still stuck with the original cover, which is in bad shape. I ordered a dozen different covers and pads, but none of them fit. This one does not, but it is without a doubt the best I have ever seen. I'd be overjoyed if it were 4 inches longer! This cover has a great fit and feel to it. went on the board without difficulty and was a perfect fit in terms of width. I'm tempted to buy a new board just so I can keep this cover!.
I finally found an ironing board cover that fits my ironing board; it's not perfect, but it's the best I've found so far and will stay in place. The material is very durable, and I like the side-hanging bag, though I'm not sure what I'd put in it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the black stripe gets in the way when I iron. I haven't ironed anything where the black doesn't show through, so I'm not sure if it's the ironing board cover or the fabric I'm ironing. This is inconvenient.
If I'm going to have to iron, I might as well have a nice ironing board. Outstanding craftsmanship!.

Fantastic. What a fantastic cover design. It fits my large ironing board perfectly, and it's quite thick. The installation is simple thanks to the great elastic.
