I noticed the print pattern rub off on the sleeve of the shirt I was wearing while ironing the cover to smooth it out according to the manufacturer's instructions. I'm not going to risk having the black marks from the ironing board pad show up on the clothes I'm ironing. I'll send it back to you.

Until you want to use it. May 20. It was delivered just now. I replaced the old cover in less than 5 minutes. It has a great look and plenty of padding. May 28th is the most recent update. For the first time since changing the cover, I used the ironing board today. Iron the curtains for my daughter's room, as well as some fabrics for her masks. The cover turned yellow, as if it had burned, and roasted like a baked cookie, much to my surprise. The padding has a damp mattress smell to it. I'm dissatisfied because it appeared to be excellent. It was a terrible decision. I could have bought another one that was identical to the one I had before for less than what I paid. Choose a different path.

I was ironing a 9'X9' piece of fabric for a quilt backing when the ink from the cover bled onto my lovely lavender fabric (see photo attached). I'm in a terrible mood right now. My fabric was ruined as a result of it. I'm hoping it'll go away with a wash. So don't buy this unless you want your clothes to be ruined by it.

The top cotton part of the layers is also a good point for me, as I really disliked my previous cover, which was apparently slicon coated (I realized this after I used this new cover) and I did not think the velcro straps would make that much of a difference. Overall, the extras, such as the laundry bag and the protective mesh, provide excellent value for money. It is highly recommended.

extra thick, perfect fit, and stylish design This cover is incredibly fashionable and attractive. The cover is nicely padded and really thick (ordered for being 4 layers) as advertised, unlike my previous one! It has a nose pocket and velcro straps that make it easy to fit it to the board. I was concerned about the smell because I'm allergic to it, but there was none when I opened the package and applied heat. It's also useful to have a laundry bag and a mesh protector. br>br>But there's a caveat: I had previously ordered another cover, which did not fit my board, but this one did. Before ordering an over, make sure you measure your board.

For a while, I needed a new ironing board cover because my old one had thinned out and was no longer functioning properly. I was looking for a thick cover and was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of this product, as well as the fact that it was four layers thick. It appears to be going on for a long time! The style is also cool and inviting. Since receiving it, I've used it three times and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a thick, durable cover.
