I like the cooler, but after a few months it appears to be having problems. When the water pump broke, Tabitha at Hessaire was extremely helpful and promptly replaced it. Due to technical difficulties with the Hassaire website, I was unable to complete the warranty information online; however, Tabitha completed it for me over the phone. The power cord's gfi then failed a month later, in August 2020. I attempted to fill out the warranty ticket online once more, but their website was still down, so I attached a photo of the "freeze" that occurred when filling out the purchase date. So I dialed Cynthia's number again, but she was completely unhelpful. I called three times to explain that their website wouldn't let customers fill out the warranty form for a replacement part, and on the third call, I asked for a manager, but Cynthia wouldn't put me in touch with one. Unreal! br>As a result, I just emailed Tabitha, the parts person who assisted me with the first broken part last month. I'll keep you updated on how things progress. br>At the moment, I'm not impressed with Hessaire. My family hails from Boaz, a small town located three miles from the Hassaire plant. Where did all of our southern charm go?.
Because it's a third the price of other swamp coolers, I was hesitant to purchase it. I received it and opened it up, and was impressed with the size, but not with the product's finish. The vendor placed the unit's wheels inside the machine, and when I removed the cooling panels to access the wheels, I noticed that when they cleaned up the plastic before assembly, the manufacturer simply left all of the plastic shavings in the unit. I vacuumed out the entire inside of the fan because I didn't want them to be sucked up by the pump. It isn't a major issue, but you get what you pay for. What I can say is that it is extremely effective! We filled it to the brim, and it helps to keep our shop cool. On a day like that, 95 degrees outside translates to 105 degrees inside, keeping our shop at 85 degrees. We are very pleased with our purchase.
It's all about the old school. volume. The output is equal to the amount of food consumed. It's also calm. This Hessaire outperforms the competition at a fraction of the cost; I've been using a Portacool at work for the past 8 years, and this Hessaire is far superior and takes up less space at a fraction of the cost. Fort Worth, Texas is where I call home. The money spent on this cooler was well spent. Spending money on those large black coolers is a waste of money. Purchase this item, and always purchase one that is slightly larger than you believe you require. You will not be sorry.
This item does a good job of moving air. The casters are abysmal and poorly made. Because the brakes don't have enough clearance, the two casters with brakes won't swivel. We had to go to Harbor Freight to get new ones, which are much better than the ones that came with it and work perfectly. I did not contact Hessaire about this issue because I believe they would have sent another set with the same problem, so I saved myself the aggravation. I previously owned a smaller Hessaire unit that worked perfectly and had no issues. I was very disappointed in the quality of the casters on this unit. My rant is now over!.
The cooler performs admirably, and I am very pleased with the quality of the cool air it produces. The wheels beneath it are inadequate due to their poor construction, and it is difficult to move when filled with water. I informed the manufacturer of this information. They sent a new set of wheels, but they haven't arrived in weeks? The small front door, which can be used to fill the unit with a bucket or pail, falls off and lands inside the water storage below. I've had to fish it out twice, and I never use this door because the float system is fed by a water hose connection that works perfectly. If you just touch it, it'll fall off. What a pity that these minor snafus detract from what is otherwise excellent produce. I bought it to keep the areas where I work cool, and it performs admirably.
This is an excellent product, which I purchased for my store and have found to be extremely useful. It's as if I've got an air conditioner in the shop, and I can't believe how much of a difference it's made.
This thing is a beast; we use it to cool down a small warehouse in Arizona, and it works great. I just wish the water stayed in the cooler for longer instead of having to refill it every time, and that the buttons and water meter were on the top. Aside from that, it's a good machine and a nice change of pace.
If this unit is even slightly off level, the media will not be wet in all areas of the pads. If there is even a teeny-tiny amount of water in the tank, the float will not shut it off.
