Please don't be concerned; it will not harm your computer. Unlike traditional air conditioners, which use compressors and refrigerants, and typical tower fans, which blow air into a room, this system uses no compressors or refrigerants. COMFYHOME air coolers are made up of three main parts: a honeycomb-shaped fan, a pump system, and a honeycomb-shaped fan Cool, humidify, and circulate chill air using shaped evaporative cooling media.
Please don't do it. To improve the cooling effect, you can put an ice tube or frozen ice packs in the water. Please keep in mind that our air cooler is protected by a 2-year warranty. I ran it at medium speed on cool mode for about 6 hours yesterday, and the water level barely moved.

This is a fan I will return! Sigh. What a pain. Even at maximum speed, this fan is extremely inefficient. It's only cool if you're close to it. Is this an actual swamp cooler (also known as an evaporative cooler)? Water was dripping from the ceiling. The water container lid is flimsy, difficult to close, and difficult to fill with water. The ice packs that come with the package are insufficient. $140 was a waste of money. Back to the search for a new cooler, boohooohooo.
The first point I'd like to make is that this is a product that includes an incentive to leave a positive review in the form of a decent-sized Amazon gift card. As a result, none of the five-star reviews can be relied upon. br>br>Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about this. The first impressions (including the gift card offer) were not favorable. This thing comes with a base that wouldn't fit together well and had to be screwed together with plastic rivets, which, in my opinion, almost never works well. The base had to be screwed into the tower in the same way; I'm not sure why they couldn't just make the plastic snap into place like most other tower fans. Next, because the reservoir is not detachable from the tower, you must fill it with water in some sort of container. To make things easier, I'll pick up a gallon of water the next time I'm at the store. It's also difficult to fill it while it's upright; you'll almost certainly have to lay it down to do so. The "ice packs" that come with it appear to be of poor quality, and it may be preferable to simply purchase some more traditional ice packs. br>br>However, after the hassle of setting it up, it appears to cool more effectively than a traditional fan. Time will tell, as I haven't yet reached the summer months. It won't be able to take the place of your air conditioner, but it may be sufficient for those who require something more powerful than a standard fan. Because of how cheaply made some of the pieces are, I'm not optimistic that it will last long, but I won't know for sure until it dies. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've had a chance to use the fan again, and my initial assessment appears to be correct. It cools a little better than a standard fan, but you'll need to use ice packs or ice cubes to get the water as cold as possible. Even with those, this fan will not turn a hot room into one that is cool. br>br>I still think it's poorly designed and made cheaply. One of the most vexing features is the water reservoir's removable cover, which is nearly impossible to snap in properly. The seller has contacted me on several occasions in an attempt to persuade me to change my review and/or send in the fan for warranty service. However, the fan is not defective; it is, in my opinion, poorly constructed, as evidenced by this review.
I've had it for about 2 - 3 years. 3 weeks. The tank began to leak a lot of water, and the plug was double-checked to ensure that it was properly seated. It's made of flimsy plastic and is difficult to keep clean. I will be returning this for a refund due to the leakage issue, and I will never purchase another Comfyhome product. I recommend skipping this and instead looking for a good unit from NewAir or another manufacturer. This is a complete and utter waste of time. The unit appears to be in good condition, and I have thoroughly examined it. This overpriced, low-quality unit is not worth your money (just my $0. 02).
I bought and returned five fans on Amazon while looking for a tower to replace my broken one. I'm still surprised at how difficult it was to find a fan that only blew air. Every other one I had to return made a clicking noise, but this one is extremely relaxing. It's also quite effective. The low setting is all I need. Finally, it looks nice; I wanted a white fan because my bedroom was light-colored, but finding one that didn't look cheap took forever. Overall, I'm very pleased with it; it looks great, performs well, and emits no clicking noises, only pure air. For a restful night's sleep, this is ideal.
It's tall enough to circulate air throughout the room, but it's also thin enough to take up very little space. For our bedroom, we only needed a backup air conditioner. Even if the rest of the house is freezing, our room remains stuffy and hot, despite the fact that our ducting system was recently replaced. This is a much less expensive option than a window unit and does the job just as well.
Great Group of People! Hi! I recently received my cooler and was very pleased with it. It's a lot bigger and more well-made than I expected. You'll be on your way to cooler air in just two steps. Fill with water after screwing the bottom on! Because it was cold, I used water from the refrigerator. It takes about a half hour for the filter to absorb the water and begin blowing extremely cold air for the first time, but then you're good to go! It has a soothing waterfall sound that is barely audible but pleasant, and I have yet to use the frozen water bottles because they are not required, but I plan to get a couple more for summer days. I hope this information aids you in making your choice! The following is an update: I've been doing it for a few weeks now and I'm loving it! This is one of the BEST COMPANIES with which I have ever worked! I had a minor problem with the pump (I believe it was damaged in transit), and this company not only replaced it right away, but also asked if I had any other ideas to improve their product. They also responded quickly, within hours! I'd like to add that this cooler does a lot more than just cool; it filters the air, giving my room a freshness that I've never had before because I smoke. I haven't detected any traces of smoke! Another advantage is that my skin has softened and become less dry, which makes me very happy! THIS IS THE COMPANY TO ORDER FROM IF YOU NEED AN EVAPORATIVE COOLER!.
