Additionally, it has a decent amount of power It has a nice look, and it's sturdy and hefty. The unit has a lot of appeal to me. I would like to draw your attention to the following issues It's no secret that Bissell loves to party after-dinner The sale of products on the market. A lot of money is made from this company, not only from the appliances it sells but also from the accessories it needs to operate it effectively. The Filters and Cleaning Solutions Division at Bissell thrives on selling filters and cleaners. As can be seen from the image, this purifier has two large, (relatively speaking), A new set of the TWO filters needs to be replaced every SIX months. Furthermore, if your air is extremely dirty or you use the unit all the time, you may be forced to replace the filters more regularly. Furthermore, I appreciate the feature that allows me to store the cord along the back of the unit. As a result, this unit works well for me. Despite its advantages, it does smell like the smell of new plastic, and as a sufferer from asthma, it has been giving me a cough and causing my asthma to flare up. My hope is that it will be able to "aire out" after a few weeks. I have noticed that these air purifiers have the same smell every time I use them, so maybe it is just part of having a new air purifier (or any new plastic appliance for that matter). Apart from that, I like it. It is quite heavy, but its value for money is not bad. A problem). *Edit
The air quality monitor I have now confirms how well it cleans the air during fire season on the West Coast. I have since bought an air quality monitor and can confirm how well it works.

It has been more than 2 1/2 months since I bought it, and I have two small dogs at home. My main reason for buying this item was to deal with their shedding, since the description claims that it catches over 99% of several materials, including hair, even on its slowest setting. I are here to tell you that that is a reversal of the truth, because in my view, it only captures about 1% of the reality. Even though I paid a little over $250 for the item, and I am now outside the return window, I am very disappointed with the item. DO NOT buy this air purifier if you are looking for an air purifier for the same purpose!.

The following is to be noted There is a real review here. I genuinely like this air purifier based on my experience. Two of them are in my possession. In order to cope with this fire in California, Bissell fire-fighting units were ordered. All the stock was out of stock, probably due to the fires, so it took a while for them to get here. After finally receiving them last week, we have been able to use Filters of this type are supposed to get rid of volatile organic compounds quite effectively. In my wildest dreams, I would never think I would track VOCs for my health, As it filters, there is an automatic mode that detects how much is being filtered, and automatically ramps up if more particles are detected. When it detects more pollutants in the air, it changes the indicator light from green to yellow. In the bathroom, we had it running, as we were cleaning, I wanted it to filter out some of the chemical smell from our cleaners (they smell like vomit, by the way, Lysol hydrogen peroxide cleaner). As I was brushing my teeth tonight, I stood next to the air purifier which has been operating in blue (clean) for the past several hours. In my effort to avoid the smell, I farted right It took the air purifier about a minute to detect my fart in the As a result, the light turned yellow, then kicked up again. About two minutes later, the clouds cleared up and the sky turned green again. Now that we have repeated this experiment four times, we think we are pretty well done with it. The air purifiers have the same settings. This is really what it does. When I fart outside the room, it detects it and cleans the air. I've farted up to six feet from it, and it detects and cleans the air. There is no doubt that I am loved more by my wife, and she is pleased. I might be able to save my marriage with Bissell's help. This is a really nice little unit, and I recommend it. It also features a sleep mode that kicks in reliably, and is quite quiet to be placed in the baby's.

It is awful to watch my 7-year-old suffer from We were able to observe a difference within 24 hours of switching this on. A second one will go in her room, too. The quality of the product is excellent.

This product makes quite a bit of transformer noise at the lowest setting, which is very irritating rather quickly, so I would not recommend using it in the As a plus, it comes with a carbon pellet filter instead of a cheap black fiber sheet, which prevents odors from entering the house. It is true that for less money you can get Winix 5500 with the same carbon filter and it does not produce any rumble and noise when used at night. Considering the current price of the product, there is really no need for this product to exist in its current form.
