I've been sleeping for a little more than a month and am pleased with the results. I no longer have trouble sleeping because I only unfold the bed when it's time to sleep; the comfort level is high for someone like me who despises soft, squishy mattresses; I've transitioned from a regular bed to my makeshift floor bed for a while; eventually, after remembering my travels in Japan, I decided to purchase a product similar to this. I was hesitant to buy at first because I had read some negative reviews, but I can assure you that they are all incorrect. Let us now discuss the mattress: br>br> It's lovely, light, and comfortable, and it has no odor. I did the measuring thing because I've seen some people who are obsessed with inches, and it came to just over three inches. I waited 7 days after unboxing it, even though it appeared comfortable as soon as I removed it from the vacuum sealed bag. br>br>The sheets from the same company fit perfectly as well; if you read all of the reviews, you'll notice that someone complained; perhaps he didn't know how to put sheets in properly, as his appeared to be a little loose. br>br>I could go on and on about how much I adore my new sleeping arrangements. br>br>I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and I am grateful to Japan's wonderful MIINA company for sharing this gift with me.
It took more than 7 days for it to expand to 2 inches and become semi-fluffy, after which I placed it in the sun. It flattened right back up after I slept on it, so there was no more fluffiness as claimed. When I contacted the company, they simply dismissed my concerns, stating that they stand behind their product and would not provide a replacement. This isn't even close to a mattress topper, and my back still hurts, so I'm not sure why people say it's like sleeping on a cloud; it certainly isn't. My roommate sat down on it and exclaimed, "OMG, it's like sleeping on the hard floor. " Anything under the mattress can be felt. I just wish the company would do something for its customers rather than just brag about how great the product is and how long they've been in business when I tell you what I got isn't worth the money, doesn't feel soft, and won't stay fluffy.
I removed the futon from its vacuum packaging and hung it to dry in the sun. The thickness was inflated after it had dried for a day. br>I believe that the quilted structure of this futon prevents it from losing its shape. br>It also has a lot of stuffing inside, and the quality appears to be good for the price.
I made a full-price purchase of a It isn't even close to being 4" thick. It is, however, extremely relaxing. To keep it safe, I covered it with a futon cover and a twin duvet cover. It's lightweight and easy to carry around. I keep it in the back of my SUV whenever I want to go car camping. I've taken it on vacation with me to sleep on a friend's floor (I prefer a carpet, but a hard wood floor will suffice). I use it as a mattress topper when it's not in my car. It's safe to say that I use it almost every day, regardless of where I sleep. I use a fluffier pillow to keep my spine aligned because it's firm. I would strongly suggest it.
Before you buy, keep in mind that this Miina futon isn't as cushioned as others. Two loosely packed layers of polyester surround a small foam layer in the cushioning. That polyester is very easy to crush. I find it far too easy. The outer fabric is the only part of the garment that is made of cotton. There is no padding made of cotton. br>br>However, this futon does exactly what it says. The measurements are correct, and it is light. There is no odor in the room. It arrives in good condition and is well-packaged. br>br>However, I'm baffled as to why "sofa bed mattress" is mentioned in the description. For a sofa bed, this isn't the best option. If you're looking for a mattress for a sofa bed, this is not the mattress for you.
My back was in excruciating pain when I bought this mattress, but after sleeping on it, it has improved! This isn't overly thick, but it's just right for supporting your body! I believe it will last a long time! My dogs, on the other hand, enjoy sleeping on the mattress.
It felt strange lying on it. "Oh oh, I have to like this because I spent money from my new bed fund on it," I reasoned. "I forgot I was at ground level in the morning, which was strange!" I couldn't believe I wasn't completely stiff! My back was fine, but now that I've had it for a month, I've noticed a significant difference! I wake up feeling revitalized and free of aches and pains! I have absolutely no regrets about my decision! The other benefit is that my bedroom now has a lot more space! My dog appears to be pleased with my decision, as I am now sleeping on her level!.
Both of the sleeping areas are very cozy. We notice that when we lie on either bed, our muscles relax more, which relieves pain. We have a better feeling about ourselves. Your comfort needs will determine whether you use it with tatami or in another manner on the floor or as a mattress topper. Wonderful quality, and it feels so fresh right out of the bag, with no strange odors. We let them air out and fluff before sleeping on them, as instructed, and found them to be simple to fold and fluff again. This book comes highly recommended.
