Selected User Reviews For Luxton Home Japanese Shiki Futon Foldable Mattress for Sleep & Travel - Twin-Long
For about a year, I alternated between the two, but the stretches of floor-to-ceiling distance were too much for me to bear. The amount of time I slept increased. I was sleeping on the floor exclusively by the time I got engaged. When we first got married and began looking for a bed, the saleswoman at the furniture store tried to sell us ridiculously thick foam mattresses that cost over $1000. I kept requesting something firm and hard. She was frustrated, so she pointed to a nice box- spring and asked, "Is that difficult enough for you?" "I lay down on it, feeling my back stretch out and a few vertebrae pop back into place, and I said, "Yes!" It's perfect!" she exclaimed as she walked away, her hands in the air, her face flushed with embarrassment. br>br>We decided to get some risers to fit a California King sized bed and bought a nice soft Twin XL mattress for my wife; she got the mattress, I got the box spring, and we evened out the two sides with a thick sheet of particle board on top. I padded the sheet with a few old blankets and quilts, and it worked perfectly! br>br>Because it's too difficult for my wife, it completely protects my territory in bed (wives can be very greedy with bed-time). Do you know what I'm talking about? I'm talking about space. ) and I can still roll over to cuddle on her side and then back to mine when it's time to sleep. br>br>The duvet-style blanket-style blanket-style blanket-style blanket-style blanket-style blanket-style The pad has been great, but it requires regular adjusting and shifting back into place, and it doesn't quite cover the entire board, so after 6 and a half years, I decided to start looking for a proper pad to put on my bed. If I don't sleep on foam, I'm going to have to eat Advil for a week. Something thick and dense, like four blankets folded on top of each other. br>br>I came across this futon pad and decided to give it a try. I was almost tempted to just buy some quilt batting and sew it together in several layers, but that would have cost me just as much and taken twice as long. It arrived in the mail today, and it's FANTASTIC! It's a little big and hangs over the edges a little, but I'm sure that won't be an issue, and it protects the kids from the board's, er, bed's, edges: )br>br>I think I'm already in love, because I'm lying in it as I type this. Now all I need to do is persuade my wife that this is still the best option. She isn't convinced, and all she has to say about it is how uncomfortable her soft mattress is in her bed. I'm confident she'll change her mind at some point in the future.
I grew up in Japan, where having the right futon mattress is crucial to my daily life, so I experimented with a variety of futon mattresses in the United States. Until I got this Luxton Home mattress, none of them satisfied me in terms of softness/hardness, weight, comfort, and maintainability. This is the futon we were looking for, according to everyone in my family. My son is now sleeping soundly through the night! We will definitely order this product again when we have a larger budget. Thank you for producing a mattress of this high quality!.
There are 7 photos of the futon up to this point. Made from 100% natural and organic cotton", says the fifth one down on the fifth one down on the fifth one down on the fifth one down on the fifth one% The futon itself simply says 100% cotton on its tag. Since rereading the entire description, I have noticed that other parts therein say 100%, without mentioning organic. The contradictory photo should be removed by the seller. This isn't acceptable. br>br>However, the product is comfortable in its own right. However, because of the clearly misleading photo, I have given it a three-star rating.
I was able to comprehend the first commenter's point of view. However, I am aware that it must expand for a maximum of three days. I included photos to demonstrate how fantastic this looks, and I can't wait to put it to use! I was concerned that it would not expand, but I am confident that it will. I'm going to use it tonight, but I'm going to let it grow the rest of the way. To Japan, I say, "Domo Arigato!".
So, for my back, I needed a bed that was simple, comfortable, and close to the ground. This mattress exceeded my expectations in every way. The bed is vacuum sealed and comes in a nicely packaged box. So when I opened the bag, it immediately fluffed up. br>The bed was a little narrower than I had anticipated in terms of width, but it was still ideal for me. PROS: br>br> br>Perfect thickness for mebr>Very longbr>Comfortablebr>Affordablebr>Minimalbr>Practicalbr>Great for my backbr>Fast shippingbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br I wish there was a full-size version available.
For a week, I slept on this futon. It was extremely uncomfortable, and my back hurt. Scoliosis is a condition in which one's spine curves backwards. My husband, on the other hand, stated that he found it to be very comfortable and that he had no complaints. He is 185cm and 80kg, while I am 160cm and 80kg (a little overweight). Perhaps the fact that I was on a solid wood floor made it more uncomfortable? It would probably work better on a carpet or tatami mat. I'm using it as a floor pillow right now, and it's great, so maybe guests can use it when they come over for the night.
I needed a bed for my student apartment and decided on this because I'd always wanted a futon bed after sleeping on one in Japan. Despite the fact that a futon bed is thinner than a standard mattress, it is a pleasant place to sleep. For the quality, the price is also quite reasonable.
br>Very Slimbr>- This mattress makes sleeping extremely difficult. br>- I'm in the mood to sleep on the floorbr>- Because the cover cannot be changed, I am unsure how to wash it later.
- Regular twin mattress sheets will not fit on this mattress. br>br>It is preferable to sleep on the carpet rather than on this mattress. I don't think it's a good idea to buy it.
