Questions & Answers
Yes, in the sense that it's a big zip lock bag with a vacuum seal hole in it. It wasn't overly complicated, and it only required rest and rise for a portion of the day.
Polyster is used for the filling.
Because pillows have their own preferences and are influenced by the human skeleton, we are unable to recommend a pillow.
I'm not sure how you'd use it, but when the baby comes over and there are four of us, we usually bring it out. There were five of us on it, and we were all very relaxed.

This was purchased so that I could safely cosleep with my infant son. So far, it's been a pleasant experience. The floor beneath you can be felt (which is exactly what I wanted), and it is nice and firm. Arrived on time and in good shape. I purchased the king size, but queen size duvet covers fit nicely over it (that is what is on it in the attached photo). I gave it 4 hours to fluff up. I slept on it for 5 hours before I went to bed. I wish it was a tad thicker, but I can't complain about the price. The stitching is well-done and appears to be quite durable. This should last us at least five years, in my opinion.
You bet no one ever suggested I replace my mattress! I had to start sleeping on the living room carpet after failing to find solutions to get better and waking up in pain at 2 a. m. one day! I needed to try a different bed, and there's no way I'm going shopping with Covid! Extra hard beds can cost thousands of dollars, and you never know what you'll get when you buy online, so I decided to try the Japanese method. Initially, I switched to a buckwheat pillow - Then I went for the FULI futon tatamis, which were amazing. I can attest to the fact that it cured months of shoulder blade/lower back pain INSTANTLY. After such a long night's sleep, my butt was a little numb at first: However, I am no longer having problems. When I visit my parents in France, I'm going to order a second futon to ship to them! FULI is a fantastic seller who is also a pleasure to work with.
It's a very unpleasant situation. I'm 170 pounds and had it for a little over a month (outside of the return period, of course). My tailbone is pressing painfully into the carpeted floor after only a few minutes. My ribs are pressed against the floor when I sleep on my chest. Sleeping is impossible because the pain is excruciating. br>br>It's simply not dense/firm enough, as others have stated. I rotated it, flipped it, and washed it to see if anything changed - However, there isn't one. This product is not suitable for use as a stand-alone mattress for me. I'm going back to sleeping on an air mattress until I can find something that gives me enough support. br>br>On the plus side, I didn't have any lower back pain when I finally dozed off.
I've bought a few of these over the years and they've all worked out well. For a bed with Japanese tatami mats, we just bought the king-size version. The thickness is ideal for sleeping on the floor, with a tatami mat providing a slight advantage. br>I am from the United States, but I fell in love with a traditional Chinese bed that we slept in while traveling. This mattress is the ideal thickness for getting the benefits of sleeping on a solid surface without having to constantly shift and roll over to avoid pressure points on my hips and shoulders (I sleep on my side). These are high-quality items that have provided me with many years of service. I strongly advise you to do so.
My husband and I are both night owls who like to sleep on the floor. Until I finished researching a possible bed or futon option, we were sleeping on folded blankets. We decided on a futon and a traditional tatami mat from a different vendor. We prefer the harder mat only because it is more durable. Does this sound insane to you? Yes. Is there any discomfort in our backs? No way; we tried sleeping on our old (relatively new) mattress and, to be honest, we aren't going back. The futon provided us with the comfort we desired while also allowing us to store our belongings easily. If you prefer to sleep on a traditional mattress, I don't recommend them. You are going to be let down. br>br>All I want to know is if you have a king size slip cover! I haven't been able to locate it.
It's been about two months since I bought it, and it's starting to grow black mold. Who knows how long it's been like that. For someone like me who suffers from asthma and respiratory issues, this is extremely dangerous. br>On top of that, this is revolting, especially for a futon that costs $300.
My son has a Japanese futon, which I recently purchased for him. My son declared that he no longer wants to sleep on the bed after only one night on the futon. His futon is one of his favorite things in the world to him. He claimed that the futon was more comfortable than the mattress for sleeping. As a result, I can confidently state that this futon is fantastic. I have no objections if it pleases my son. I believe this is the best Amazon product I've ever purchased.
My spine is aching. We tried it because our hip had been bothering us since we delivered our baby a year ago. After just one night, my pain was gone, and I was still pain-free a few months later. It took a few nights for our baby to adjust, but he now enjoys walking into bed to sleep. Since it's now on the floor, I'm not worried about him falling off the bed. One thing we don't like about the tatami mat is that it doesn't come in a king size to fit our bed. We repurposed a foam mat from our baby's old giant playpen. The mattress sheet can only be hung to dry, which is difficult because we don't have anywhere to hang it. Aside from that, I strongly suggest it for a restful night's sleep.
