India is the source of Tablecraft SKU item H59H.
I use it for flour and powdered sugar, and I don't see why it wouldn't work with cinnamon as well.
There is no covering made of plastic.
I'm not sure if I agree or disagree - It was purchased as a gift for another person. However, the stainless steel appeared to be "normal." Even if you couldn't put it in the dishwasher, it's only two pieces and would only take a few minutes to wash by hand.

It performs admirably, cleans up easily (I'm sure you could throw it in the dishwasher, but that seems like a waste given that it takes all of 15 seconds to thoroughly wash), and my only complaint is the lid. I was expecting a screw-on lid, like any other seasoning container, but it twists/snaps into place instead. The lid is secure once snapped into place, but it is difficult to remove. I simply seal the dredge in a quart-size ziploc bag when not in use to keep the contents fresh, which is a minor complaint because I don't need to take the lid off every day, so other than that, I'm very satisfied with the product. Note: This should be available for purchase locally. store at Bed Bath Beyond, which I would recommend with 20 off coupon or better yet $5 off.
I must have gotten the one that got past quality control (assuming they have quality control) when I got this. When I unscrewed the top, the bottom edge had such sharp edges that I was fortunate not to cut my fingers deeply. I should have just put it back in the box and returned it because there were very sharp metal burrs and metal shards from machining along the edge, just waiting to tear your fingers apart. I got some emery cloth because I'm that kind of guy. (Emery cloth is essentially metal sandpaper if you're not familiar with it. ) For the past 20 years, I have been working on this. I finally got it smooth and safe like it should have been from the factory after 30 minutes (way too much time for a $6 item). br>The good news is that it did accomplish its goal once it was fixed - With my seasonings, I use it to season chicken, pork, and other meats. But, considering the state it was in when I received it and the effort it took to make it safe to use, I believe my "2" rating is generous!.
Spices lose their potency after a period of time. This shaker was a mistake on my part. I needed it for a spice blend in particular. I've been using it and it's great, but the issue is that the spices are exposed to air when not in use. The holes on the top allow air to pass through, causing the spices to stale more quickly. Other shakers have plastic covers that seal the shakers when not in use, as you can see from the other Amazon reviews. That is something I recommend purchasing.
I purchased the dredge in the hopes of speeding up the process. Wow! It was a huge success. It quickly and evenly distributes flour across my work surface, rolling pin, and any other items that require flouring. When shaken vigorously, it yields a large amount, but when not, it yields a smaller amount. I'm not sure how I ever managed to bake without it in the kitchen. I've had it for a long time because I don't review items until I've had enough time to write a thorough evaluation. Hundreds of times have I used it. It also wanted to know how I felt about "sheerness. " I'm not sure why, but I gave this dredge a ten because I adore it!.
We don't use powder, so I had to get creative and come up with a new dispenser.
I bought this to use when grilling because it not only evenly distributes the rub but also prevents it from clumping. The holes are large enough to fit all of the spices I use, from large pepper flakes to small onion powder granules, without holding back any of them, ensuring that they are evenly distributed. A screw on lid screws on to small mouth mason jars, which means you don't have to move the spice rub into the little metal shaky can, but it still works. I'd buy a new can if the old one didn't last me a lifetime.
I purchased two of these to use in the kitchen to dispense flour and cornmeal. They've done a good job for me in those situations, and I'd recommend them. The size is ideal, as it is neither too large nor too small. They come with a sturdy screw-on lid.
They're the same ones I used when I worked as a chef. I bought these for the house, and I use them to store various spices, sugars, and other items. Note that it is not designed for "larger leafed" herbs, but I'm sure a modification could be made, though it is not recommended. Without hesitation, I will purchase again. Durable, effective, and simple to label clean. This is an excellent product.
