There are a few reasons why these are inconvenient to use. once full of sugar, the spout gets stuck, so when you pick it up to use it, it starts to grind. Two) the bottom is glued on and I'm already afraid it will fall off and spill sugar. Sugar gets stuck and you have to keep tilting it up and down. 3) Sugar is sticky, and you have to pour it in a funnel.
The OXO Good Grips are poorly made considering they are marketed as such. Once the package was opened, I began filling the tubes, but while doing so, the bottom felt A $20 price tag on a $20 piece of plastic isn't worth it. I would have thought that for $20 they could use glass or at least a It won't be a purchase I make in the future.
A large spout makes it possible to pour raw sugar (which has larger crystals than white sugar). The ones with metal tops are more visually pleasing than those with glass.
